Alexia, a friend and fellow worker of mine here in Mexico—a brilliant, creative, loving thirtysomething woman with inexplicably low self-esteem—will be having a birthday on June 24th. Would anyone be willing to send her a birthday greeting via snail mail? She rarely gets mail, so it would mean a lot to her to get a bunch of letters and cards, be they homemade or store-bought, cutesy or serious, cheesy or whatever, just so long as they were positive/uplifting. She speaks Spanish and English perfectly.
Alexia loves jewellery (she creates and wears her own large faux-crystal & wire neckalaces), mathematics & physics (she’ll finally be getting an engineering degree later this year), physical fitness & healthy eating, Hello Kitty, artsy stuff … she is a wonderfully complex human being. *She's* the only one who doesn’t realize how magnificently brilliant she is!
The only thing is, you’d need to get these mailed in the next couple of days, to give it time to reach her in Mexico City in time, as stuff takes over a week to get here from anywhere else. If you’re willing and able to do this, PM me or e-mail me at catlingmex at yahoo dot com, and I will send you her address. (I don’t feel comfortable putting her addy up here.)
Thanks so much!
