My Anti-Bush LMAO deadline has been pushed back.
 yeah sorry 'bout that. i have decent excuses though, i'll try to write you a letter about it too (yeah remember when we were penpals and then i fell off the face of the earth?? ) larrissa has no excuse though, you should kick her ass in the name of the lord and leave her a cracked-out animated thingamabobber for feedback!
i have been up since 5:45. you have no idea how insane that is. especially considering what time i went to sleep last night.
we have no screens on our windows because our landlord sucks. we like to open up and get fresh air but now there are flys buzzing around.
bonus fact: the kitties are staked out on the window sill watching the squirrels run around. moi cute.

~ I think Larrissa should get a job at the post office. Then she can share all of the PO secrets with us... like where all of that "lost" mail really goes to, and how to send a big package overseas for under $5. And of course she would always allow naked mail. :D
~ Where is Skilyne?? :'(
~ Where is chunkymonkey?? :'(

I actually have two advisors and they both suck. The first because he is an old man who doesn't listen to anything I say. Example: "I drive an hour and a half each way to get here and I also work full time, so I need all my classes to be either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday." "Hey why don't you take this class that meets M/W/F and the lab on Thursday!"
My other advisor is a pretty cool chica but cancelled on me last week and now won't be meeting with me today but is instead shuffling me off to some other chick.
I mean, come on, I don't need an advisor anyways. They just make things more complicated. I went in with my pre-planned schedule today and the first advisor just goes "Oh you can't take those yet, they're upper level."
You know what else is upper level?
JIHAD. it's so on.

Yeah, I'd like to have something called "Magic Fucking Foyer" where those mothers who like to drop by unexpectedly could hang out and all they would see would be clean white carpeting, white curtains, and neat-neat-neats. They would be rendered, "Speechless".....an extra added function.
I need to have some work done on the car.
I don't know if my mind is in the proper frame to deal with manic mechanics at this time...I need to just chill with a comic book and try not to watch them watching me, etc.

welp, the bathroom is done. I mean- I sprayed down the shower and the toidy and the counter, but feel guilty for not vaccuuming the bathroom mats.
The back room ( where she'll be staying) looks better than it did- the major mess there is my art table ( which by the sign on the door says, will be cleaned when pigs fly) and the clean clothes my BF has yet to hang... for like, the past MONTH.
the living room... well. That can be declared a disaster area. sigh.

Always buy over the counter pain relievers in HUGE bottles
When the huge bottle is down to 1/3rd buy a replacement to have "on hand"
Caffeine makes aspirin and ibuprophen work faster !

caffeine also makes tylenol w/ codein work faster
but apparantly, chocolate is a better pain reliever

So, last thursday we're sitting around the table in Kevin's parents dining room. His sister Karen looks at me, with this smug little tight lipped grin and says "So, Kevin tells us that you're an environmental engineer. Now... (and she waves her fork in the air) that isnt like, a real engineer, is it?"
Yes, I tell her...it is like a real engineer.
"but you only had to go to technical school for, what (and she waves her fork again) 2 years, right?"
No. I went to school for six years. And it wasnt technical school.
"Oh, well things must be different up here."

I have Steve for a class next semester too, but it's an online one (so yeay! no listening to a monotone)

I'm wondering if I'll live to find out what weird thing was hanging on Helquin's floor.
The neighbor's cat got into a fight and now her eye is swollen shut.
She's head-butting my shin like a mother.

I dropped a doodad, which set of a freak reaction which resulted in a bunch of candy spilling on the floor.
I had to get down on my hands & knees to pick up candy, so thought I might as well look for the errant doodad while I was down there.
I never did find it. But I did find that wasabi pea.
I love wasabi peas!
But I didn't eat that one :D

I think I just had an epiphany about the colors on this message board. It's trying to tell me where there are new posts...
I took Percocet for the pain, since:
1. I'm out of aspirin
2. It's raining & I won't go out
3. The pain hit a new octave
I think it's pain from the Novocain shot itself... It feels like that sadistic dentist punched me hard right in the jaw.
Anyway... now the Percocet has me WIDE awake. I forgot about the side effects.
Oh -- and I found my doodad. Those things have quite an unpredictable bounce. I had to summon a minion to find the darned thing.

Rockin & rollin on this Percocet, but not able to focus worth a durn. At least my jaw quit aching...
I'm a little freaked by the whole dental episode today. When the dentist gave me that Novocain shot, my heart started beating like crazy -- and that never happens to me. I never have adverse reactions to medications like that.
That red I chose for the bathroom walls turned out perfect! Woohoo! Finally got my Red Room.

2. I have to get some of that articficial snow that comes in a spray can, then maybe, just maybe I can pretend I'm in Vermont or somewhere similiar. Last night I got party ice and put some on the kitchen floor so I could pretend I was in Vermont.

I've been really depressed today, more so than usual. The biggest drag of all is not being able to talk about it with you shiny happy people. Blah.
I get bored at work and make myself big-ass day-by-day to do lists... in excel. It's fun. More fun than it should be. Then again, I *am* at work.
We have a little beta fish at work named Mouth. I kind of want to get one but I don't need the extra responsibility and it's not like they really have any personality. Plus the cats would love him to death. Literally.

Isn't it boring when people who have gone away bother to take the time to let you know they will soon be back. My motto is, if you are out of my sight, you are out of my mind, so don't bother me...believe it! I have a life without you, so please get on with yours.
The truth is I don't miss them at all.

Wow! A National Geo. tank with a periscope? I kept mine in a special beta vase/ with spathiphyllum plant. That fish had the most beautiful blues...but I have seen red ones. by still, i mean since he's been home from the hospital, his levels have been sky high.... 28, 26, down to 14.5 on monday.... normal range for him is 8-10......
this after the IDIOTS at shopper's drug mart putting a 'keep refrigerated' label on it... and i called and asked why it had to go int he fridge when none of the other bottles we had gotten had to go in... 'it keeps it stable'... well, i thought if it said 'do not refrigerate' then it would have to stay OUT of the fridge, are you sure it's fine??? oh yes, oh, it's fine... a week later i call asking AGAIN, after the first high tacro level came back.... 'it shouldn't affect it like that... if anything, his levels should be lower... i dont' see why it would do that... you dont' need to replace it, it's fine...'......
the drug company wants us to let them know if his levels have been affected since the fridge stuff.. because THEY have no research or testing done on it when it's cold.... <_< and someone from shopper's actually botehred to ASK someone, the company, who might know something about it....

When you wrote about a film crew being in your town, I thought I remembered a film crew in one of the neighborhoods I lived in while I was in NYC for college.

a fact in the form of a question-
why must men whine and snivel about their colds?
My Rudy caught the cold I had/have and he randomly curses vehemently and I ask what? and he says
"i'm sick, I don't want to be sick."
And becuase he caught it the week after ( to the day!) that i did, I give him the run down of the next day. I told him yesterday- Tomorrow's gonna be Terrible, watch out. And today he's asleep on the couch whining in his sleep.
You know what i was doing when I was at This stage of my cold a week ago? WEARING A SKIRT FOR HIS FAMILY AND GETTING DRUNK!
