I'm out of the loop, too.

I know I need to work on stuff before I leave on vacation, but I'm still feeling uninspired.

I bought a really cute outfit today. I was in one of those stores that limits the number of things you take into the fitting room, and I wore the outfit to go swap out some clothes, and another shopper told me I *really* needed to buy the outfit. :D Maybe I'll wear it tomorrow and get extra cute points!

Tommorow is Wednesday!!! :) Halfway through the week after tommorow...

I hate the comment he made today.

He (not my boy) said that I look like a 12-year old boy instead of a 23-year old woman...since my hair is so short and I'm so thin and small chested. ASS. I don't think I do, but it always causes that little bit of doubt.

Skilyne, you're beautiful and hip, so you worry about a thing!

Most men in Western PA still go by that old 80's standard of beauty - big boobs and big hair.

You'll fit into NYC perfectly!

1. I'm debating whether or not to go to my cousin's wedding this weekend.

2. I went to her brother's this summer and it was lame, but I like the sister a whole lot better.

3. I just don't want to deal with my family. I WAS exposed to mono a week ago... Maybe some creative white lies are in order.

stargal1998

1. Earlier at work I put in a new set of contacts in the wrong eyes... And proceeded to walk around like this for 1/2 an hour.

2. My left eye is worse than my right.

3. The idea struck me in the bathroom that I'd put them in the wrong sides. And rather than go stand in front of the mirror I stayed in the stall so I didn't have to see anyone.

stargal1998

When I was in college there was a bomb threat in the science building every time there was an organic chemistry test.

It wasn't me. I fulfilled my science requirements my freshman year and then stayed as far away from that science building as possible for the rest of my academic career.

I know how to make paper with a screen

Luckily if I was to come home to a sink full of boiled paper I would be able to actually create the paper as I have screens.
Pantyhose and clotheshangers can also work.

Otherwise you CAN use that paper as paper clay and kinda sculpt with it.
Just need to drain the excess water off.

I'm SO TIRED...off to bed.

I am hoping that I sleep well tonight and don't have too much trouble dragging myself out of bed in the morning.

However, I am not holding my breath on that...I am not fond of crawling out of my nice warm and comfy bed at 6:00 just to go to work.

Obviously she has no clue about shoes, as I would be willing to bet that my friend's shoes cost 4 times the cost of her nine wests. ( which I think by the way is a huge waste of money)

When you get to the site, you are going to want to click on "Professional Resources" and then from there, choose "Nutrition related links"

I also think that some of the companies will work with clients who can't afford the formula, but need it. I know in the US that is the case.

I believe that we recieved some of my TPN formula that way.

I have 2 hours and 16 minutes to pay my Water & Power bill OR ELSE! But since I am paying it online I don't think there will be a problem...I hope.

I have decided that I no longer need to pay for my diaper service, the training pants they supply are super huge on my svelte kid and she has been waking up dry so I can just let her wear disposable training pants to bed, so that will save me $15.00 per week vs the $7.99 I paid for a package of 10 pairs of panties.

There is a crew of men cleaning up the huge fire hazzard behind my house that we have been ordered by the fire department to get rid of...my neighbor is paying for it and he has only asked for us to chip in 25% ($100.00) so that is really cool. Next we have to figure out where to get the $$.

Wow, those are some wordy facts...

nymphette
09-24-2004, 02:57 PM
siafu: the formula he needs is called 'peptamen jr.'... he was supposed to be on pediasure- which we could get for the wonderful cut rate of cost plus 10% (which would still be about 35 bucks a case, which would last us for about 5 days!!!!!!!! :o  :'( ) but his ige blood tests showed a milk allergy that developed from the donor organ!!! so he was tried on a couple of other special formulas and the peptamen jr is the one they kept him on....

bonus though- he hasn't had those awful lumpy hives since changing formula.... :P so that is nice... poor little lumpy baby he was.....

and skilyne- i bookmrked that site!! i ended up today going through the canada food guide and finding out portions per food group daily, plus calculating his amount of fluid/kg daily, plus protein/kg, plus complete caloric intake... and made up two recipes of my own...

yes, now i am supermom....

though i used a calculator to do everything since i suck at math.... and i am still going to get his dietician to check them out-just in case.. i am sure she'll think i am a freak feeding him "3/4 cup brown rice, 1/2 cup nvy beans, 1 cup soy milk, 1 cup apple juice, 1/2 cup cooked fruit, 3/4 cup cooked veggies, water to make 1150 mls" .......... pureed...... <_< blech!!! i'll tell you, it smells terrible, but i guess it would help if i had regular soy milk and not vanilla flavored...

until he eats 100% of his daily required nutrition by mouth... :( i think he'll do it- he's come so far since the tx, further than we ever though he could, by how things were going.... but he's got a long way to go....

the speech pathologist he saw was amazed t his progress after one week!!! (post tx)

he went from (pre tx) gagging on everything, not being able to eat purees or solids, anything really, or even drink water, to shoving popcorn (minus the kernels) into his mouth 3-4 at a time, gnawing on green beans, eating pureed sweet potatoes, carrots, etc!!! and he'll try almost anything too...

on the almost anything note- he ate a sticker last week.... :o he started gagging on something and i figured he picked something up off the floor and tried to eat it... a few seconds later, he was coughing/choking on it.... he was getting oxygen, but couldn't dislodge it... i was ready to call 911 when he started to calm down.. but he was breathing kind of funny, short breaths, so i could tell it was still in there... so i called my mom to see what she thought and he was coughing on it again, and crying... and so i tried to give him some water, but it didn't do anything... and he calmed down again... then he was sitting in his high chair and started again, but i saw something in his mouth and quickly stuck my finger in and grabbed it... it was a small metallic holographic sticker of a race car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :o

which ticked me off... he won't EAT eat, but he'll eat a sticker......<_<

Oh, those Baptists! Plenty of them around here, too.

I was raised in the Church of Christ in Christian Union, but my holy-roller grandmother was originally from the Church of God denomination (her father was a minister).

One good thing was that our church services were quite dramatic -- lots of yelling and if the weather was nice someone might even get "filled with the Spirit" and run around the outside of the church once or twice.
