Well, since were talking about the foolishness of our childhoods. . .
1. When I was about 8, my brother and I agreed to play dodge ball with rocks in the parking lot of the restaurant/bar where we met my father everyday after work. Of course I got beaned right in the forhead and went running into the bar with blood running down my face and screaming for my mother. I still have a scar.
2. When I was nine, I climbed a tree in high heels, fell out of it, and dislocated my elbow which unfortunately required an operation and a hospital stay.
3. When I was eleven, I accidentally shot myself in the foot with a pellet gun. The pellet lodged between two bones . . .another operation, another 3 day hospital stay.
. . . but I wouldn't say I was accident prone. http://nervousness.org/forum/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

Ouch Bugitha!
1. I have yet to seriously injure myself.
2. I twice caused my little sister to lose a nail. Once was running a sliding closet door over toe, the second time I open a bathroom stall door on her finger. Both times we were playing hide and seek.
3. Today my fiance and I went to put a deposit on our reception hall and catering. Eeek!

I am glad that so many people share my love of mst3k!
1. my mother bought me this (http://store6.yimg.com/I/engrish-store_1720_330069) for christmas. It makes me very happy! (ironically)
2. Currently, I am getting drunk phone calls every minute from my friend about tomorrow night's festivities. I'm pretty excited because there are four parties I'm expected to go to. I feel kind of hip. Anything will be better than last year. i just hope I get kissed.....
3. i was in a theatre troupe in highschool and we were improv-ing in front of a bunch of middle schoolers. i got really into the scene, which required falling down a lot (i'm usually very good at prat falls) but the floor we were on was very slippery and I fell too hard and gave myself a concussion in front of nearly 200 middle schoolers. how is that for embarassing.

1. I woke up late this morning but made it to work on time
2. However, I realized when I got here that I left my purse at home *sigh* (home is 45 min away so I cant go get it or have it dropped off)
3. I am grateful for the fact that I actually broght my lunch (since my money would be in the purse) and that I get off work at 3 today.
Great end to the year,eh?

1. I was in a Wondra Hand Lotion commercial.
2. My Buddhist teacher is also, one of Richard Gere's teachers.
3. I walked on 12 feet of hot coals during a "firewalk".

1. I think I'm a bit of a Peter Pan. I'm never going to grow up. I spent last night playing Sardines, drinking Slurpees, and playing this game where everyone lies in a circle and crosses hands and then the hand tapping gets passed around the circle. I see no advantage to ever growing up (hmm... maybe the pension plan. but that's it).
2. I have a whole list of things to do and no desire to do them, so I'm mucking around the internet, drinking coffee, and contemplating getting up enough energy to go shower and dress and face the day. It should be a very fun, very long day http://nervousness.org/forum/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
3. I'm making a homemade Chai tea mix, so I need to go buy some loose black tea at the shop on Broadway. That's half a city away, and I have no car, and it's cold, so I need to plot the bus schedules out and figure out the best way to get there. If it turns out well, I might make it an exchange because I'm not sure how much I actually want it. I just really want to make it.

Hooray for Engrish.com that site has given me many laughs. I love the badly translated signs.
1. My New Year's plans are going out for dinner with the in-laws.
2. I talked to my friend who is cat sitting. Poor Mystee is depressed. I would have brought her with me but my mom-in-law is allergic. Poor thing! Luckily my friends have been going over to watch Daria episodes on my computer and pet her. I feel so guilty!
3. I want to watch Monty Python's Quest for the Holy Grail.

My parents gave me that on dvd for Christmas (along with the Matrix)! I haven't watched it for years, and I am looking forward to it!
1. I am house/dog/cat-sitting for friends for another 4 nights. They also have chickens and geese - it's hard work and I am pretty tired. I cannot wait to get back to my own bed, and some lay-ins in the mornings!
2. I was just thinking that I'd have to get a new calendar, when I remembered that I have a 'nervous made' calendar for 2003 from a collection LMAO - I've hung it up and it looks great!
3. Nervousness leads me and my efforts to avoid procrastination astray!

1. Furthering my Peter Pan tendencies, my friends and I went tobogganing at 2 AM last night. Well, tubing techinically speaking. It was great; no wind, no one else on the hill, and lots of people to pile on top of and hurl down a slope. Great fun.
2. I'm not sure if the brownies I'm eating are breakfast or lunch, as it's 2 PM now.
3. At the moment, I have a Chinese symbol for peace on my left forearm, and fortune on my right.

1. I am breaking off a friendship of 15 years (best friend for many of those years. Well, not actively breaking it off... I am just not going to make any further effort to mantain it because it's too much work for nothing in return, and it's really begun to mess with me emotionally. If she decides to start being a friend, I'll welcome her with open arms... I just don't expect that to happen. It was a very tough decision, but sometimes you just have to move on. I hope that someday she'll grow up and realize how much she's losing because of her self-centeredness. </enough>
2. My cat, Mazzy, snores like a human being.
3. I can see the Golden Gate Bridge from this window.

Ack! BreezyK, I just decided more or less the same thing last night. My former best friend of over a decade hasn't answered my emails since March (she's in Egypt now, so the whole friendship's been on long distance for a couple years already), so last night I said goodbye. Even though it's the best thing for me to do, it's hard. Maybe I'm not so much deciding as accepting her decision... ok, to be honest, I'm still a bit messed up over the whole issue. But new year's are for new starts.
1. I am currently rereading Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Yes, I have seen the movie. Good, but doesn't compare.
2. I must pay my Big Sister's dues and hand in my year end review thingy, as right now I'm not insured and that's bad.
3. My driver's license is currently expired, but only since today. I should fix that tomorrow.

Highlights and lowlights from my New Years Eve:
Highlights:
1. Fireworks
2. Champagne
3. Kisses
Lowlights:
1. Being crushed by mobs of people
2. Having my good coat sprayed with Champagne and not really having money for drycleaning at the moment
3. Waiting over an hour for some people I was supposed to drive home to come back to our meeting place (apparently they had forgotten where we were supposed to meet up and wound up taking the bus home).
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!

I have a friend who rarely attempts to contact me. Almost ever writes...almost never emails, always very short...never calls. However, I continue to write, call, and email, because I know I mean a lot to her...she just isnt' as good at sociability as I am. :^ )
1. I wrote a little note to go with a gift for my mother-in-law that made her cry.
2. I took my brother and sister, their spouses and kids to see my father-in-law's kids (goat variety). How did my siblings become such city slickers? I felt like we lived on different planets.
3. I want to paint a table-and-chairs set for Miss Anna's birthday, but can't find a good, solidly built set to paint at a price I can afford.
Bugitha--I read your note about Hello Dollies while showing my Mom what Nness was during a visit to her house. LOL...We really ought to meet sometime.

Kerri, if it makes you feel any better, I had to write my best friend off for the selfish, boyfriend-centric, immature way she was acting back in about october. We spent November not talking and when it really set in for her that we were not friend's anymore, she came back to me, and has made amends several times over. She goes above and beyond the effort. And I um, accidentally, ran into her new year's resolutions, and one of them is to be a better friend. I thought that was pretty cool. Sometimes you do just lose friends entirely and that's always sad, but if she was a friend worth keeping, she'll find her way back to you. Wow, that was sappy.
1. I have nothing to do at work. Plum nothing. I work at the KU computer lab. I babysit computers and keep people from looking at porn. But there's no one in here. And I had to get up at 7 am. I'm pissed.
2. I'm thinking about taking a year off school. So many girls here are hoping to get married straight out of school and start pumping out kids. They don't care about seeing the world or having a career. I need to get away from this mentality for a while.
3. More random: ok, a couple of years ago, I had a long dangly pair of silvery disco earrings. I wore them all the time and when one finally and irreparably broke in half, I cried for two days. I did the same thing when my beautiful polynesian shell necklace busted apart. It still makes me sad to think about.

2. i am going to see "Mama Mia" tonight.
3. It's my dad's birthday today.
4. It was my mom's birthday on New Years Day.
5. I DID get a kiss at midnight when it became 2003. First time that's ever happened.
6. My New Year's Eve was LOADS of fun. hung out with a few friends in my basement, beginning late afternoon, and we ended up crashing down there, finally falling asleep in front of the TV at somewhere between 4 and 4:30 in the morning. They didn't go home until lunchtime-ish New Years Day.

1. I'm eating strawberry-peach yogurt for breakfast. New flavor. I haven't decided if I like it.
2. I've fallen behind in reading for my Nervousness bookcrossing reading ring. I really must try to finish reading *The Eight* this weekend.
3. My apartment is still in disorder even though I took down my Christmas tree a week ago (which is when everything got mixed up and moved around).

Three things about me, hmm? Lessee....
1- I'm old enough, and mature enough to have children....but the thought of a child of my own scares the living daylights out of me. It's not the pregnancy or the birth process that scares me, it's the fact that another little me could be running around! That and I havent found a man with whom I can agree on childrearing philosophies. I can barely keep my own head screwed on, never mind looking after a little one.
2- I don't drink coffee. Gives me upset tummy.
3- I collect hundreds upon hundreds of writing tools. Pens, pencils, markers, fountain pens, crayons..etc. I entertain this fantasy that ONE of those pens will contain the inspiration and just the right chemical mix in the ink that the words of some life-changing expose will flow from it. Like Shakespeare's works, or maybe some dark goth series like Anne Rice's works or maybe even the inspiring words of Maya Angelou.... Of course everyone knows these things arent hidden in the ink mix of a pen, theyre in your soul...but one day those words will flow from me.
and a bonus 3 things!
4 - I learned yesterday that the word DREAMT is the only word in the english language that ends in MT
5- My beloved kitty Peso has been gone for a year, today. (I hope you have a soft bed in heaven, little girl... I miss you so)
6- I have never tasted lobster, shrimp, crab, prawns or any other fish. (the smell turns my stomach)

Yeah, littlebird. Sappy yes, but those are my thoughts exactly. Glad to hear your friend came back to you, and I have a feeling that mine will too eventually. Unlike Mejaka's friend, I don't think that our friendship does mean anything to her right now. This is the chic who I drove six hours to see in her first starring role in a play in LA and left me with her roommate so she could go to a party. Her priorities are *1. Making sure every male in the vicinity is interested in and fascinated with her and *2. Surrounding herself with people who make her look cooler. (I'm not one of those people. We're 26 for God's sake...shouldn't she be over this?). When I called her up over Christmas (the only time we're ever in the same town) to get together, she basically told me, "okay, but let me check with everyone else I know in town first, and if all those plans fall through, we can get together." Forget that! No grudges, but there are better people for me to spend my energy on right now. I think someday she'll grow up, but it's gonna be a while.
1. I believe that if Shakespeare were alive today, he would have been writing episodes for Three's Company.
2. My company just reinstated the $3/day reimbursement payments for carpooling. Hooray! Not only that, two of my co-workers just moved next door, so now we carpool as 3, which means... free bridge toll! Double hooray.
3. It's nearly impossible to beat my boy at Scrabble (I've only done it once)... and I'm a pretty bright gal.

This topic has been fascinating to read. I've only read a fraction of the posts, but I feel as if I almost know some of the frequent posters.
Three somewhat involved facts about me:
1 - Even though I am Bipolar and can't manage to get up enough guts to go apply for a job, at my last job, when I worked as a sort of receptionist for one of the buildings on my college campus, I evacuated the whole building after a major earthquake and managed to keep over two hundred people from panicking until security officers showed up. Of course, the earthquake was in Washington state where no one is used to them and I grew up in California...
2 - I can only sleep in a non-dark and noisy room. The best sleep I've ever had was when I lived in Boston for 3 months, right next to a major hospital. Becuase it was August and the ancient building had no ventilation, we had to have the windows open. I now live in a very quiet, nearly rural neighborhood and I feel terribly nostalgic for sirens ;}
3 - Despite an escalating allergy to wheat, those who know me revere me as the best cookie maker in the universe. I can't actually cook, only bake, so I find this all madly frustrating.
And three less involved things:
1 - When I am manic I compulsively bid and buy things off of eBay. I've found myself with some odd stuff, such as two Indian saris, 4 vintage metal lunchboxes, and several pins and scarves.
2 - When I had my wisdom teeth out at age 19, the moment they put me under general anesthesia I started to sing. I sang throughout the whole operation, beginning with the Star-spangled Banner.
3 - I used to build theatrical props and work as stage crew in college. Even though I've never acted in a play, I had to wear costumes for most of them because I had to go onstage.
And finally three quick facts:
1 - I'm a total Anglophile.
2 - I once worked for Greenpeace, but only for a week.
3 - I suffer from chronic insomnia, and have cluster headaches.
That was fun! Everyone has so many interesting things to say, I am looking forward to reading the rest of the posts.

1. I need to get back on a diurnal (is that the word?) schedule by monday, as I've been running the much more fun nocturnal one since getting back to the city.
2. My mom has three house cats, the oldest and wisest of which is Eddie. She's a girl, but we named her "Screaming Eddie"(from an episode of Inspector Gadget with the crazy birds) because she was the runt and was always howling at the top of her lungs. She's now the oldest cat on the farm and loves to fight. If she hears tom cats fighting, she runs over to fight too. I love that cat.
3. When I was a kid, I was so flexible I could wrap my leg around the back of my neck. I used to give myself bleeding noses in gymnastics because I'd hit my face on my thighs or the floor. I'm still more flexible than average, but not to that extent.

I am so very bored here at work and I have had too much coffee, so ya'll are getting a double post.
1. If I was a boy, my parents would have named me Milo, which I think is cruel and unusual. It's after a character in some movie, I can't think of which. While I was in utero, before they knew if I was a boy or girl, they called me cletus the fetus. Classy people, my parents.
2. My amazon.com wishlist is 100+. I LOVE buying books. It's an obsession.
3. My secret ambition is to learn to play the Ukele (sp?). I love the way it sounds and i'm a very small girl, I think I would look cute playing it. And I think that I secretly want Squirrel Nut Zippers to ask me to play with them so that I can hang out with Kathryn Whalen. I bet none of you know who I'm talking about.
4. I met John Waters at a book signing/ speech thing my school did a few months ago. I asked him to write something dirty in my book and he wrote "eat one." It was so cool. I love him.
5. The thought of pregnancy is truly repulsive to me. I liken it to parasitism. I have lost a friend for this belief.
6. My new year's resolution is to have moved away from kansas by this time next year.

Thanks! Well, I've heard that people do all sorts of strange things under anesthesia. All I remember about the incident is waking up singing "Sex Machine" by James Brown and nurses giggling.
1 - My cats are named Pookie and Pumpkin. Not because I like the names but because those are the only names I could get them to answer to.
2 - I met my best friend seven years ago taking English 101 in junior college. She's now an English teacher and I am a frustrated writer.
3 - When we moved into our new house, I splattered red and yellow paint all over my bedroom walls. I sprained both wrists and had to wear braces on them while we moved. (I repainted a nice purple-pink 3 months later.)

JetFuel--we have much in common--the childrearing thing, the writing instruments, the seafood. And "dreamt"--good to know. I was actually never sure if that was a real word because the ending was so odd. Of course, I was always to lazy to look it up. Thanks for clearing that up for me. http://nervousness.org/forum/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
Ah, the trouble with friends . . .
1. So the friend that dumped me because we disagreed over a book (of all the silly things) and then came crawling back months later dropped by unannounced, pronounced me her "best friend" and in the course of conversation proceeded to list all the things I'd done to make her mad in the last year or so. Some were understandable, some were downright ridiculous. She also dredged up all kinds of stuff I thought we were over, but apparently she has not let go of. Then she said she didn't call me for four months because if I had done poorly in school, I would have blamed her. (Say What? ? ? ? ?)
So I really think I'm done with her. The problem is she is having a lot of personal problems right now and I think she needs someone. She's alienated every one else, too. So I don't know what to do. I hate to kick someone when they are down. http://nervousness.org/forum/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif

3. I have read every post on this thread.

Sistasmell found me a table! Table and two chairs from IKEA, 29 bucks! There's no IKEA here so I had to order them and pay 39 bucks in S&H but hey--that's still like $50 cheaper than the least expensive unfinished wooden table I had come across (and that one was ugly--the IKEA one is so cute!)
Okay...whew...three random facts.
1. While in a Bass outlet store with my sister-in-law, I was approached by a stranger who said, "What do you think--this pair or this one?" (I guess she had seen me giving Lisa my opinions on shoes). Stranger and I got talking a bit and then Lisa walked up...then stranger's friend, stranger #2, who had been on a radio selling a horse since the two came into the store. Well, Lisa has a horse ranch, so I joked about that as part of the conversation, and stranger #2 said, "Oh, I just sold my horse, she was too wild for my kids so now I need another one..." Lisa promptly said, "I may have one for you!" and before it was over here's what we learned about Strangers #1 and #2. First, #2: wants a horse and took Lisa's number; wants goats (our father-in-law is swimming in them) and took Dad H's number; just moved to the little town where Lisa and Dad H both live; belongs to our church; knows two families Lisa grew up with. Okay--stranger #1: grew up in the same town I did, 130 miles away from the store we were in; is related to a woman who was a church leader when my sister and I were young women, and as we grew up became a good friend of my sister; went to school with my cousin Ryan and had just returned from a class reunion where she had learned where he is living now--not Boise as I last heard, but Arizona.
2. When my mother told me I'd be sorry I didn't stay with piano...she was right. I was quite sorry today, in fact.
3. I found an old claddaugh ring in my things today, and wore it to church.

1. My iron count is currently 1 point too low to donate blood. I'm sorta dissappointed by that (and we don't get paid in Canada!), as a friend and I made a point to go together... but she was low too. Bring on the red meat, baybee!(Well, maybe I'll just start taking my vitamins.)
2. My math prof this semester reminds me of the Count from Sesame Street... One! One derivative! Two! Two linear approximations! That's going to keep me interested through another math class. I think he's Russian, but he could be from Czech or Polland or Ukraine, too. Who knows for sure...I go to such a good school. Sometimes I even get profs I can understand. (Actually, so far this semester, I'm 2 for 2.)
3. When my bottom two front teeth came in, they came in behind my baby teeth, and I had to have my baby teeth pulled. They are perfectly aligned now; I had a dental hygenist ask if I had had braces.

1. Today I went to an open house/goodbye gathering for Suzy Toronto, who is moving to Florida, and ended up coming home with some of Suzy's personal things that are not making the trip. It was a major reminder of how unconventional I used to be (for my subculture) and also how conventional-by-default I have become since college. All of the coolest stuff (passed over by the conservative women in attendance) was exactly the type of thing I used to wear all the time. I came home with a snake ring (I lost mine years ago), 2" lizard earrings, big coppery hoops, flat disk dangles, all kinds of cool stuff--and nobody else wanted any of it. (Several people did take some similar pieces because they reminded them so of Suzy--she being the only one among the church circle who would wear anything like them--heh--except me...again...)
2. When Miss Anna opened her little red velvet (after-Christmas-on-sale) outfit for her birthday this evening, she said, "Oh, CLOTHES! My most favorite kind I've ever SEEN!" I tell you if I hadn't carried that child I'd never believe she was mine.
3. I walked this morning for the first time in a month. I can feel the effects in the muscles located in the arches of my feet.

Random factoids for tuesday morning:
1. I recieved THREE christmas cards this morning - two posted in New Zealand on the 9th of december and the other one posted in London just yesterday! But all 3 are from New Zealanders!!!
2. The outside temperature and the weather forcast say snow - but it is sunny. . .and damn cold.
3. I have taken 2 hours off of work. . .and I chose to spend it updating here! What is it with the nervousness vortex that it sucks me in and spits me out hours later!!!
Back to work I guess. . . .

1. My toes are cold. They are usually cold from December to March. I'm not a big fan of winter after the novelity of snow wears off.
2.I think I had food poisoning Sunday night. I think it was caused by dried Turkish figs. Whatever it was I was puking Sunday night and sleeping all yesterday. Bleck!
3. I currently procrastinating, I should be doing several very important things right now- maybe I'll start when my toes warm up.

1. I just had to turn down a Skate Canada ticket because I have classes this afternoon. Sometimes I hate being responsible, predictable, and boring.
2. I should be even more boring and responsible and go to school early to work on calculus. Ugh.
3. The only redeeming fact about this boring, responsible day is that tonight I'm going to see LOTR: Two Towers with one of my friends that hasn't seen it yet.

1. I have not been to see LOTR: two towers yet - I'm waiting for my movie buddy (16 year old that I used to babysit back in the day) to return from his skiing holiday.
2. I have 2 sisters. I recently found out that my mum kept all of our lists for father Christmas from when we were little children - I read through them and was astounded to see that she got us everything we wanted.
3. I have a really good memory of my childhood - I can remember things from before I was 17 months old onwards. I have a friend who cannot remember anything from before she was 8 years old. We freak each other out.

2. I've never had cable television.

1 - After not being able to sleep from Monday through Wednesday, I spent yesterday sleeping, and I think I am now uncharacteristically diurnal today. I hope it lasts.
2 - I broke my insomnia by watching CNN for hours on end, a habit I got into after the last presidential election. (Damn Florida! I hate the government there, but they have Kennedy Space Center.)
3 - I am desperately afraid that the US is about to be really REALLY stupid and go to war (possibly on two fronts!) for the worst reasons. Spent my last year of college learning about media and government, putting this together with my previous study of history makes me way too conscious about these things. I actually hated my title. It was supposed to be a working title only but then I never came up with anything better, so there it is.

Such fun, so one more time:
1 - I had two imaginary friends while growing up, one was named John Brown and the other was a rooster named Big Shot. They were both dead.
2 - If I could afford it, I'd go back to school and go for a master's in either sociology or communications.
3 - If I could start over from any point in my life it would be from my freshman year in high school. And I'd do it in a heartbeat.

1. In Jr. high school, my friends and I would hang out at the mall all the time, but we never really looked in the music stores or looked at clothes or played with the cosmetic samples in the department stores. Instead we headed straight for the furniture departments and picked out the things we wanted for our eventual homes. That seems so weird to me now.

Yesterday as a very good friend and I were discussing our (considerable) life stresses and promising each other that when one of us got rich she'd take the other to Jamaica for a month, it suddenly became clear that she was not fantasizing. She is going to receive a very large settlement... The thing is--she'd rather have her husband back, and I don't really want to go to Jamaica. Hey, in honor of your engagement--three wedding facts! :^ )
1. I won the Z-103 Wedding Giveaway. It was an annual contest I'd been hearing on the radio every June for years, and a little old man who sold us a diamond convinced me to sign up--"Honey, you really should, nobody is entering this year, I bet you win!" I wish I had sent him a thank-you card. My winnings included free photography, cake, tuxes, invitations, and more things than I can recall.
2. I was married in the Boise Idaho LDS Temple, with only members of my family and Brett's attending.
3. I used untraditional wording when ordering my invitation (with Brett and I announcing our own marriage) and this upset my mother so badly that I called and had it changed to the traditional, paternalistic. demeaning "Mr. and Mrs. so and so announce the marriage of their daughter, Janna..." I regretted it for a long time, but I'm grown-up enough now to know it really just doesn't matter.

2. We were 10 people there (us, his family, my family), 4 cameras and 1 video camera. They were so busy documenting for the friends and relatives that they weren't into experiencing and sharing it with us.
3. My dress is store-bought. After adding a custom-made undergarment(??) to it it cost 888nis. (185$) and it's mine to keep. It is a really comfy dress, not too elegant and suited to the weather just fine. My custom-made red sandals cost 400 or 500 nis (that is less than 100$ but about half the price of the dress)

Ok, here goes. This is amazing that this is 69-now 70 pages long!! Whew! I want to read them all, but oh! I'm a slow reader!
1.) I have a rose tattoo to remind me that beauty is inherent to the person, not just the facade. A reminder I need living here in L.A.
2.) My cat, whom I rescued off the street not even knowing that I like'd cats, is my first true love. Strange but true.
3.) I am afraid of needles despite the fact that I sport several tattoo's, and tend to hyper-ventilate whenever I have to give blood or otherwise get injected with medicine. At least I'll never have to worry about being a junkie!

Hiya folks! A friend just introduced me to nervousness.org, and I think it looks like a pretty good idea http://nervousness.org/forum/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif but its a pity that sign ups are closed (though I can understand why from reading around the site etc). Anyway, I thought I'd make this my first participation as its pretty cool http://nervousness.org/forum/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

I still quote bits of The Holy Grail... unfortunately usually around people who have no idea what I'm talking about. "She turned me into a newt!" "A newt?" "I got better..."
1. It is 3:30AM and I just got back from my shift of volunteer duty. Engineering is hosting a conference for Grade 8 girls. 80 of them. In a hotel...I pity the other guests. Most of the girls are now asleep, but not all of them. All I'm doing for the conference is that, so I got off pretty easy.
2. I don't care if Grade 8 girls think I'm mean. (And no one needs ice at 2AM. So if they ask me, no one gets it.)
3. My cynicism over the grading schemes at school is reaching such epic proportions that I'm having serious motivational issues. And yet I must do a killer assignment tomorrow and study for midterms. In the end, power is right, with or without reason.

4... i should do some work today, but that package has been waiting since last friday (not yesterday) to get picked up, and I want to know what it is.
5... it's time for a coffee
6... i will most likely go to the pub tonight and have a very lovely Guinness.

1. i'm exhausted. just got back from a friend's house. She made us stir fry for dinner, yummy chocolatey dessert, and we played a lot of comedic music/CDs. We got there about 5pm, and got in a few minutes ago (1am).
2. my friends i went with are a bit pissed at me, i think. we took cabs there and back. $5.50 and $4.75 costs, between 3 of us. I paid $2 each way. One has no cash. whilst it isn't much money, I don't want to feel expected to absorb that person's share of the fare as well as my share. If I offer, that's one thing, to be expected to is another. Maybe I don't see it the same way they do, but I got annoyed, and so did they.
3. nights like this make me wanna say "screw university" and go home. but that would not be smart.

2) The film "The Decline of Western Civilization" kept me alive in my 18th birthday. A pathetic reason but hey, the film rocks!

oh no, i hope you don't get them often. the longest i've ever had lasted about 4 days.
i actually don't have much idea what facts i'm going to post here. think, think...
1 - well i have to remind myself not to cook chicken again, or i'll never have the stomach to eat the stuff even if it's cooked by others. i was so hungry though i had no choice but to finish the whole dish, uhh.
2 - i get hungry so fast even if i've had a huge meal a couple of hours earlier. a friend of mine used to call me in swedish 'den alltid hungrig lilla flicka' - the always hungry little girl. that's me.
3 - i'm going to toast 2 slices of bread spread with condensed milk. yummy. i can't possibly follow the no food before bedtime rule.

1. I'm finally back and I have TONS of pages to catch up on! Yipes! I think we were only on page 50 something the last time I was on here!
2. I'm hating my uncle. Grandma left everything to him and he's cleaned out his fire place, so he's burning anything and everything he can that doesn't mean something to him (he has the mind of a 10 year old so that's pretty much everything) and I don't see how he could do
