there are a couple things messing up my chain game addiction.

one: it seems useless and inconsequential while conversing with J.

two: there is an adventure going on and *They read in here, when they get a chance .... and i feel strange talking about people that we know when they arent around.

THUS: not many Q&Q posts. though i am still up there with a 42 post a day average

I'm thinking if I don't get a job soon I may have to face mom or dad's spare bedroom, or auntie's couch. This is so less than ideal, though.

I'm noticing how experience can link us to this or that person around here...

I want to read, know, study so many things it's not funny.

I had a noticeable drop in chain game posting after the first few months.

Mostly because I got distracted.

I think my record was slightly over 170 posts in one night, the night I broke into the top ten poster list... ^_^

I haven't opened the curtains yet and my desk lamp is turned on. I'm sitting in a reddish-yellow glow.

well ..i took a break from posting here ..a 2 and a 1/2 year break. :o

but when i had joined the end of 2001, they're was hardly anyone here along with me.

the boards weren't active, and i maybe posted like 5 times, but there really was nothing going on here. it was really dead, so i basically just joined and left because it took like 2 days to get a reply from someone else.

i come back though about march this year and realize the boards aren't like they used to be. what i had been missing out on for the past year or so! but i'm glad i'm here now. :)

I've been up since 7 this morning, working out in the barn. I'm a terrible mess and coughing like a fiend from all the dust and hay!

Skipped church again. What a sinner I am.

Going to Cruizapalooza with my Mom later. (It's a small town thing...kind of embarrassing to even admit what it is!)

I did a yahoo search for Cruizapalooza and all it came up with is riverboats and rockbands, and since lilac and helquin were talking about cars I don't think it has anything to do with boats.

Long day at the race track yesterday, traumatized my kid by waking her up from her carseat slumber and making her take a bath when we got home...

She was so upset she pee'd on the floor. :(

I did that for Halloween a few years ago - no wait, about a decade ago? When Sandman was big, I went as Death for Halloween and couldn't find any black spray-on hair color, so I bought the kind that (supposedly) washes out in 8 shampoos. It had to grow out. :(

Hopefully, yours will wash out eventually. If you want it to.

We have an ant infestation in our kitchen. Argh!

We put out the kinds of little traps where the ants are supposed to go in, munch down on poision, and then take it back to the nest and kill everyone there.

How it works: I watch the ants stop at the edge of the trap, examine it, and then walk around it. Then I squish them with my thumb.

except that the idiot who put in the new alternator (right before we bought it...) didn't attach a bolt right and some pulley or something came loose and the alternator fell and ratched the belt.... the belt- for the power steering, air conditioning, everything........ :(

so now not only do we have to replace the belt, which luckily is cheap, but we have to get rid of hte brand new alternator and get anotehr new one, at our expense.... because it stripped some bolt threads and can't be reattached.... :(

I had been wondering whether people would start to get Helquin and me confused (two of the still-few-and-far-between guys here, and both HQs). Now I see it's happened.

The adrenaline rush from the argument must be leaving my body. Suddenly I'm feeling very, very tired and rundown.

At least I'm calm...I'm just sitting here watching these two crows outside my window. They are pecking the ground real hard, almost digging. I'm sure they're bringing up some sort of insect, but I'm too far away to see. And I'm too lazy to go upstairs and get my binoculars.

They are quite amusing, though.

 I wondered if anyone noticed that a couple pages back! And I, too, have been wondering how long it would take for the two "H-Q" males to become conflated in the others' minds... ;)

Good news: my family member is recovering well from congestive heart failure and could be released from hospital as early as tomorrow afternoon.

I'm feelin' love for Janis Joplin right now... but how about that scrappy Lilac, huh?! You can dress her up in a moustache but ya can't take her out!

I was supposed to take a bunch of photos today and I never touched the camera.

But I did dye my hair, made postcards envies an ATC and a CD mailer, knit 6 more rows on a cap, return a video to the store, post about a book I'm reading for an online book discussion (and read another chapter), and balance my checkbook.

I have put myself on yarn restriction. I can't buy any more until I substantially reduce my stash. But there is a sale on Cotton Tots at Michaels and I feel myself weakening.

Since the school year ended (and I have been home with Gwen so much) I have gained back the weight I lost. Mostly because of too many cokes and tortilla chips.

My mom refused to go see Farhenheit 9/11. I guess what you don't know can't hurt you  So tomorrow I'm taking her to see Supersize Me and I've already seen it!

If you came to my house you would never know that I have been decluttering since early spring. :(

~ On Friday morning as I was about to leave for work I realized that one of my cats was missing. I am guessing that he escaped when I let the dog out to do her business on Thursday night before I went to bed, at around 11:00 PM. I called in to work & told them I wouldn't be coming in. I was in a panic. Jasper is about 3 or 4 years old, and he has been an indoor cat since we found him as a stray when he was still really young. I was having horrible visions of him being squished on the road or tortured by the moronic boys in the neighborhood. It seriously was one of the saddest days of my life. My boyfriend & I put up a ton of flyers around the neighborhood & I called animal shelters.

~ At around 8:30 PM on Friday night I went outside to call Jasper one more time because it was getting dark. I really didn't expect anything... but a minute or two after I called him I heard a little *MEOW* I couldn't believe it! Then I looked up and there he was running towards me across our backyard!!!! :D  So now he is home... safe & sound. I'm just curious about where he was all of that time.

~ I feel like I haven't been on N'ness forever, but it has only been since Thursday afternoon. There were so many 3RFs to catch up on though! Geez, you all went on a posting frenzy.

Poor Gwen is sick today and we had to stay home from school and work. She has a virus which is kind of a relief. ~ In the middle of the graduation ceremony we heard a loud *CRACK* *BOOM* - a folding chair that a woman was sitting on broke and she fell to the floor. This woman was very large too. I felt bad! :(

If you ever go south, check out Ripley's Aquarium in Gatlinburg, TN. I liked it better than any I've ever been to. And you can get a big discount if you get the Ripley's package - Believe It or Not museum, thrill ride, and Haunted Mansion thingy.

I need to go get something to eat while she's asleep - my fruit loops wore off a long time ago.

Dinner was as follows: take slice of fresh-baked bread (bought at the bakery yesterday). Coat with honey. Add a slice of cold ham (yesyes, trust me). Eat with sharpish firm cheese and apple slices. Good good good. ^_^

I have this feeling apples will go with a lot of things... ^_^

I've breathed too many noxious fumes in the past hour... my throat is still recovering. And I'm not talking about intoxicants of any kind... <_< I'll spare you all the description.

I like apples or pears cut up on salads with swiss cheese. It's even better if you have green olives, too (olives again, spelled right this time). The sweet and juicy flavor of the apples goes well with the salty, salty bitter flavor of the olives.

I was just canning pictures of my dad when he was in the French army. He looks very young and handsome in his uniform.

I might meet up with the local LA 'nessers this weekend. Slight anxiety...hope the hubby does go out of town so I can go meet 'em with out any hassles and him thinking I am meeting up with "my boyfriend" (yes, he's still on that kick.)

The world's most common surname is Chang or Zhang. There are approximately 100 million Zhangs. The name is roughly 4,700 years old. In all of Mainland China, there are only 438 last names. Chinese surnames were originally based on geography.

Here are the top five last names in the United States, according to the 1990 data from the U.S. Census Bureau: Smith, Johnson, Williams, Jones, and Brown. There are around 3 million Smiths in the U.S., and they've held the top spot for the last 13 years. Zhang ranks pretty low on the list of American surnames -- 2292nd.

That's pretty random.

and for rustell, homemade electrolyte replacer:

4 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup boiling water
1/4 cup orange juice (not concentrate) or 2 tablespoons lemon juice

I can't believe I haven't shut this damn machine off yet!

I also can't believe my 12 pound cat is now attempting to climb the window screen... bad kitty!

"celebrity fashion victims galore"?

"find out what happened to your old friends"?

whew. sometimes ... sometimes.

I'm so confused I had to check which thread I'm in

I think I really did break those 3 toes last night... my foot is all swollen & shoes have been a misery today

I have to clean my house for company this Saturday and I'd almost rather eat my own tongue <_<

I'm really feeling happier than this post makes me sound

Jeez, medeous, wasn't it you just a few months ago thinking an airplane was about to land on your house (but it turned out to be the White Album)? Or was that someone else?

I spent most of the afternoon repairing and adjusting the big one-ton warehouse doors at our studio.

In the sun.

On a ladder.

I'm tired.

OOh! When you get good at it, can you appear here and teach me?

It's Miller Time™ (see previous post). Since I don't like Miller, it's actually Mendocino Brewing Eye of the Hawk Ale time.

I'm eating fougasse like there's no tomorrow.

I should save room for some fruit salad.

i don't own the white album

i wish i had popsicles

my grandma's just come out surgery, they had a no-resuscitate order. they've removed her artificial hip and some bone and she's likely to be in a chair for the remainder of her life now, which brings up the question of where she will live, since her home is not accessible.

I have popsicles that are probably 6 years old in my freezer.

I've never had fougasse.

I have had an emotional day and I have my spinning head on now so watch me loop!

Throw those popsicles out.

I too, do not own the white album.

A nice glass of red wine soothes the soul.

Aha. It was Theresa siafu who got attacked by the Beatles. I just searched it.

I knew it was one of the Nervous Women Who Are Good At Making Me Laugh.

I want to go bind books or something but I lack the ambition and energy, especially since doing any such thing would involve quite a bit of cleaning up first.

some men were mean to me at starbucks.

i was cheesed because i couldn't decide whether to confront them or ignore them.

if they don't like the way i look, they don't have to look. i hate it when someone doesn't actually care, but they feel the need to give me shit.

siafu, anyone who would hassle you is just an idiot. end of sentence.

I have to watch myself in these situations because I am not afraid to say what I'm thinking...

Lilac, I'm glad you will be here with me spiralling through the loose ends and ambiguities...

Thanks to lilac and HQ getting "badgers badgers" stuck in my head. So I tried to get it out by singing "Banana Phone" and now they are both in there.

It probably did not help that I sang it in front of Megan and so she was singing "badgers badgers" during her bedtime routine.

Bid Theresa! Bid! :)

What, no post here in the last seven hours???

I slept with the light on and woke up grumpy.

Then I got to talk to him, and after that went back to sleep... :)

I haven't had my coffee yet. But I'm on a chain game rampage. ^_^

Goodmorning all! :)

~ I must call my school's financial aid office to get this whole mess straightened out.

~ I hate making phone calls.

~ I painted my nails a bright pink color for a graduation I went to on Saturday. Now it's chipping off and my nails look horrid. I miss Tinker Bell polish that I used when I was a kid, it would peel right off in one rubbery little piece.

I've taken off work today, because I am feeling mentally and physically crummy.

I hate feeling this way, but I have been lately. :(

I am going to go lay outside and do some artwork once it warms up a bit more.

But I ain't given the chance not to repeat, so it might be an irrelevant position.
