~ I wonder why Tana is on the FBI's list?! :o Maybe it's because of all of the crazy things she has to search for while playing in the Picture Scavenger Hunt thread.
My grandpa used to rent spots for people to park their motorhomes, boats, trailers etc in our corral. There was a guy who was living in his that would have visitors at odd hours of the night and paid my grandpa rent IN CASH for 6 months at a time.
We told him the guy was making and selling Meth but he wouldn't listen to us....Until one hot May Sunday the trailer BLEW UP!!! Burnt down another trailer and caught the hills on fire.
I went online to find the recipie for Meth to prove to my grandpa thats what he was doing due to some 'evidence' found in the ashes and rubble (coffee filters, several boxes of antihistamines, and way more tanks of propane than the average person would use in a year) and one of the websites had bomb making instructions on it as well.
This was way pre-9/11, but I am sure they keep a watch list for those kinds of things.

people have been asking me recently if i'm excited about going to college ..my answer has always been 'no' or 'i don't care'.
someone told me that i would care and be excited, it would just take a realization, or some crap like that.
well. i guess that day was today when i went and toured the campus because i'm so freakin ready and excited to start my life in college. yay for my dorms!! they rock!!

~ Oooh yikes Tana, that sounds like a good plot for a book or a movie!
~ Zanna, you silly! I bet a year from now you will be posting in 3RF... "I HATE DORMS!!!!!!!!!" Actually, they aren't too bad. I lived in dorms for one semester and it had it's ups and downs, if I had really liked my roommate then I would have actually been really happy in the dorms, but she kinda ruined it for me. Dorms are a good place to meet people though.
~ Maybe I should go to bed. Hmmm...... but the sooner I go to bed the sooner it will be tomorrow and the sooner I will have to go to work. :(

My son is fighting me tooth and nail because he thinks he gets to stay up late since school is out for the summer.
He's not winning this battle, but I can here him up in his room crying.
I love him to deathm but I'm really hoping his father will take him to stay with him for about a week or so! (And I feel guilty as sin for even thinking this!)

Another wallpiece of mine is getting sold.
It's the smallest one I've made (well, with the intention of selling).
It's going to Korea.

I'm afraid of moths! There were a few trying to get in the kitchen door tonight. Yikes.
sarahkate i have a wicked phobia to those things....had it ever since i can remember. Very weird because my brain knows they can't bite, but something about them makes me totally freak out. Weird.
zanna i'm glad to hear you had a good experience on your college tour today!

I don't know where in Korea, besides South.
It's been sold to the same mysterious Korean buyer I talked about several months ago here, who keeps on coming in to one of our galleries and arranging to buy astonishing numbers of our small and mid-size wallpieces.
We don't complain, but we would like to know just what she does and how she sells them at that rate.

~ Moths are just so creepy, they are all twitchy and "dusty" looking. Ewww. My boyfriend think it's hilarious to chase me around the house using his "moth voice." Yes, he can actually sound like what I think a moth would sound like if it talked. It's scary!!!
~ There is a meeting going on here at work right now. Most of my coworkers seem to be at it, but no one told me I had to attend. Oooh maybe they are having a meeting about ME!! :o :P
~ My deodorant broke this morning, fell on the floor and crumbled to bits. I had to use my boyfriend's instead, so now my armpits smell like boy. <_<

i cant just NOT mention the things not everyone should know, i have to talk about them all general-like. MINE, he's mine! stay away, you! its funny. i do wish i could tell, but that wouldnt be right. its not for me to decide whether its public or not! sheesh, shut up already!
disobeying the three format again, woot!
i organized all my art supplies last night and listened to lots of music, trying to distract myself. the image of him and him with grapes and fan in a chaise lounge just kept me laughing the whole night ... :D :D :D

- I'm glad Larrissa's got a HIM to talk about! ;) :D
- I had two dreams that I remember, both rather disturbing. Don't think I want to post them...
- I prefer chain-posting to this thread than 'disobeying' the 3-fact format. More fun that way. :P

- From the looks of the sky, I think it's gonna rain...
- That made me think of Alice in Chains. 'Rain Whan I Die'.
- Some lyric lines are so etched in my brain, the association is automatic. Ok, so I've been thinking of Alice in Chains lately anyway... :P

HIM i have never met, or the other him for that matter. (and you know them, hear from them both! AHAHAHA  )

-My husband just reminded me we still have to file our taxes, and he totally ruined my morning with that bit of information <_<
-I don't think my youngest child will ever be potty trained. <_<
- I am getting on a plane for the first time in 14 years next month (Am TERRIFIED of flying, have avoided at all costs) to San Antonio, Texas.

- I admit I'm curious, but not enough to go into a full-out investigation... I'll leave that to medeous. ;)
- This  guy makes me think of playing Diablo. Not a good idea ATM.
- OK, I need to eat something. The iced coffee has lots of sugar, chocolate, and milk in it, and can carry me for awhile, but I need something more substantial.
Cuilanië
06-10-2004, 09:05 AM
- Ah yes, here comes the rain.

~ I wonder what Eve would do with a pet dragon. I wonder if her pet dragon would be able to fly.
~ I have heard a certain song on the radio several times in the past month or two and I have no clue who sings it and I want to know! I have tried doing Yahoo & Google searches on the lyrics (or at least, what I believe the lyrics to be) and I can't find any results. Maybe it's a local band........ or an old song... oooh it's driving me crazy.
~ Oh Larrissa - did you see chunkymonkey's thread (that Monkey Down, Monkey Down! one) ??? There is a new update at the end of the thread saying why she still isn't back online. I hope Veronica is ok & will be back soon!!! I keep meaning to send her a letter and some fun stuff, but I'm a total slacker and haven't done it yet.

but im going to be good because i dont want to lose you guys.

~ I haven't been to a library in a loooooong time. That makes me sad.
~ Last night I was invited to a graduation party for my dad's girlfriend's son. I really don't want to go because my dad's girlfriend's daughter is a girl that I was actually friends with when I was a little kid....went all through school with and I haven't talked to since high school. It would be awkward being at a party for her brother. I must think of an excuse to get out of going.

it's a shame, but i'm thinking that drastic measures that i shouldn't even be considering are necessary to break this funk that we're in. i know i'll regret immensly, but we're so far from being anywhere near normal, it's hurting us, and me too much to feel that i can carry on. :(

~ Larrissa is a tease! She likes to toy with our minds and foolishly thinks we aren't smart enough to figure out her cryptic messages!
~ My other theory: Larrissa is in love with The Phren Head. He peaks at her over the menu bar, with those empty eyes, begging her to stay with him, pleading with her not to log out of the site. "Stay, post, let me watch you, Larrissa!" he says. And Larrissa can't say no, she has fallen under The Phren's spell. She is in love.

i lost a wedding invitation, so i had to call my friend and be like, hey, uh, i lost the invitation you painstakingly gave me. what time is the knot tying? she called back this morning. phew.
i've never been to a gay wedding with legal significance before, besides my own, and the few bazillion quickety marriages i saw at the county building. i got married unification church style with thirteen other couples. i was scared we were going to be the 13th couple, but then another couple came. we did say our vows one couple at a time though, so it took like seventeen hundred hours.
i am making my friend and her partner a photo album and taking pictures to fill it, at the wedding and reception. at least they will have more than i do. 3. we are supposed to have a kung fu asian style wedding at the japanese garden in asian clothes and swank style, but that takes money, so i just think abou it all the time. my big fat asian wedding.
and that's a wedding trf. B)

I think he's serious, we had a fight about it.
He also thinks that my "so called" depression (he doesn't believe there is such a thing) is caused by the fact that I am online hearing all about how wonderful all of YOUR lives are.
I didn't think about it then but I could have retorted with "yes I am so envious of Robyn and her sick baby, Sara and her daughter with CP, cb and her malignant lymphoma, Larrissa living in her moms garage and all the other trials and tribulations we discuss with one another!" (although I AM envious of all the babies :) but that's not something I am incapable of having.)

~ Baahaaaaaa!!! Yes....we all lead such glorious lives! And besides, we could all find something to be "jealous" about after talking to anyone be it online or in real life, so what does he want you to do - never have contact with any living being again for the rest of your life in case they have something that you MIGHT want?! so i worked last night on a LMAO i had been avoiding ... wrote a bunch of pages and found out a way to do it all right like. FINALLY. i had just kinda put it in the back of my mind, and thought "yea, so i have until the 30th and he aint big on deadlines .." it turned out really gross. he hurts animals alot. its a long story and im too sensitive to criticism this early. wont be posting the rest of it where it belongs, in the myth thread.
i made a year long LMAO idea too, but im not telling that yet either!
so yeah, i took the walk, i got real high (which i dont normally get) and layed with my head inches from the speaker and pretended to be alright. and it would happen that yes, it turned out alright. and i wrote lots and impressed myself with it. it was good.
i dont come across as all sad when im not being extravagently happy, do i?

My theory/justification the reasoning behind us turning off the tv/computers is that when he is sitting in front of his cpu and i am sitting in front of mine across the room together, that is time we could be spending doing things together instead of just being together....

If I'd known about the Today in Pictures thread earlier I'd have taken some.

i got really cool stuff at this fly fishing store today.
all the fisherman were looking at me oddly while i oohed and aahed over little bags of shiny things.
i'd like to stand in the river and whip a stick around, but i wouldn't want to actually catch a fish.

Spent the afternoon decluttering another couple rooms in my grandmas house.
I have 'inhierited' 2 new sets of sheets, several new pairs of socks for the hubby, a duvet cover, placemats, a set of burp cloths and matching baby blanket.
I just had the bejezus scared out of me...people around here like to use one of the streets that borders my property as their own pesonal race track and I heard someone screaching along in their sooped up little Honda and it sounded like they crashed into something. But nothing looks like it's damaged.

i'm sad that i have to waste 7 hours of my life today in a stupid defensive driving class that the judge ordered me to go to in which they teach you how to read road signs and trival things like that which they say makes you a better driver.
i was speeding. i know how to drive, i just like to go fast.
so once i get home after 4pm today i have to rush to get things in order for my trip.
bonus : hey chunkymonkey! i miss chaining with you! :)

Hey Veronica! I hope that all is well and I commend you on your backpacking decision!!!
In unrelated news, my head is full of mucus. Sorry if that is gross, but it is true.
I'm tired and I have to give a walking tour today. My feet will swell, and if I sneeze (which happens a lot when your head is full of mucus) and my bladder is full, I'm afraid I will wet my knickers. Why do they want the pregnant lady to give the tour???

Hey, Veronica! If you fail to give me a wave when you pass through France, I'll sic the Monkeys on you... :P  :D
My mother is asleep. I've moved my computer to Roommate's room, because he's not here this weekend.
The past -- as in the five-years-ago past and my childhood -- were evoked today.

I think I may survive the week. ;)
I think it may even be good for me.
This is the most time I've spent with my mother all in one go since my last weekend at home before my parents split up.

yes cb, it does show and it made me smile! :)
It's strange to actually be able to talk to my mother instead of just listen and deflect her questions...
I need time to fine-tune some of the things I understood today...

Also while cleaning out the cupboards @ Grammy's I found a pair of socks that would have been perfect for my little sock dudes I made for the toy swap. :'(
The scuzz that floats to the top of the water when par-boiling ribs or chicken is just WRONG on so many levels.
Meg is watching the most anoying DVD of music videos to 'motivate' kids to potty train...but she loves it.

1. My husband went to the emergency room today because he was having side pain that was spreading and getting worse. He just called me to tell me that he has an inflamed spleen.
2. He is supposed to see his primary care physician next. I think he probably hurt his spleen surfing last weekend while we were on vacation; he went surfing on Saturday and it started hurting on Tuesday, I think.
3. However, the hypochondriac in me is sure he has lymphoma and that our good fortune at being in love, pregnant, and happile employed is about to become a made for TV movie about a new mother who has to juggle caring for a baby with caring for her sick husband.

I hate when people say antisocial when they mean asocial.
Especially when they say it about me.
It's enough to make me antisocial.

I have ice cream in my freezer.
Woooooooo I'll be right over!
I crave ice cream all the time but I can always resist buying it at the grocery store.
So I have to make Gwensdad take me to Baskin Robbins. It's not hard to get him to go.
That ebay seller I thought was awol came back and straightened everything out. She was behind because her ex-husband (who likes drugs and guns) had kidnapped her son. *shudder*
