1. Someone offering me a job assumed that since I have graduated from college, I've at least had a basic accounting course. Uh . . .no. I thought about it, but you know, medieval art was being offered at the same time and my degree is pretty much a monument to impracticality, so . . .uh . . . no accounting.
2. I'm sick of being sick.
3. I have 3 rolls of film to get developed. The last time I got around to developing a roll of film was a year ago. The last time I remember actually putting pictures into an album was in 1997.

1: "Top 5 peculiarities of the local culture where you live?" from tom in the top five thread- i want him to answer that about where *I* live... because it all seems so normal to me, but apparently, it isn't....
2: "i'm going to add another new years resolution - to keep track (for curiosity's sake) of all the nervousers i send/receive mail from this year." - i am going to steal alison's idea and change my current system for keeping track- it has led me to forget one (that i know of- to nikkij but it is sent) PIF that i owed, which i only found because of one that i forgot (that i know of- from medeous, funky fibres) that i was owed!!! i thought i was very organized but i guess i found out that i am not...

1. right after i read this, my mama called and told me that i could use her credit card to buy a new mattress if i needed one and couldn't afford it while they're on sale.
2. i think the real reason my mama wants to make sure my mattress is okay is that is the bed she sleeps in when she comes to visit...and she's coming next week.
3. the real reason i'm not buying a new mattress with my mama's credit card is NOT that i am an independent adult, but my house is too messy to have the delivery guys in.
bonus fact: i must clean my messy house before my mama and her credit card come visiting.

2. Last night I saw 2 people that I hadn't seen in years -- one was a friend of a friend who I hadn't seen for about 7 years (maybe more?!) and the other was a guy who I took photography with at JuCo. We recognized each other at first, but had absolutely no idea where we knew each other from. He figured it out, and I am still very impressed by that.

This was so much fun to read... y'all are like real people now.
I'll abide by the starter's rule and share:
1) I used to read the phone book for entertainment. Yes, really.
2) I have an unreasonable terror/phobia about bridges over bodies of water. It's a combo deal... a bridge doesn't bother me, lakes/oceans, I love, but driving over a bridge that is over water..... (shudder)
3) I come across as pragmatic and down to earth, but in reality, I am dreamy and romantic and long for kindred spirits, just like Anne of Green Gables.

1. so in response to the article about contaminants in farmed salmon, there's 4 responses in the paper today (not mine), one is from a fish farmer, who obviously has no clue about the contaminants. 2: fights like this wouldnt' be so bad if he ever came home with flowers to apologize.... but he never does...
3: of course, if he did, i am sure that i would just get mad at him for wasting money on flowers for me... because i have come to the conclusion that i am bitter and unhappy and nothing makes me satisfied.

1. First thing I did upon returning to Nervousness last night was to update my "What's Sirius Doing?" page. I kept trying to "Report" myself when I was actualy trying to edit the posts for updates.
2. Then I answered a slew of questions that had been left.
3. Then this morning I thought I had truly offended people because they had taken away feedback...glad to know it was a glitch. Remember my little thing about leaving negative feedback? All the negative feedback I left is part of what disappeared. It was hard enough to do the first time, i don't want to do it again!

1. When I went to my member page this morning and saw that my feedback number was one point lower than it was yesterday, I honestly thought that Rustell had given me negative feedback. (And it would be deserved, yes.)
2. My brother's fiancee is letting my little cousin who barely eats choose the restaurant we're going to on Sunday night. That's a bad idea.
3. Tonight I am going to a yummy Chinese restaurant with my high school girlfriends, Liz and Dawn.

1. I LOVE Avacados...except my lips swell up after I eat them.
2. They look really cute swelled up, so I think if I plop a little more lipstick on them next time I can look like a movie star (think Marilyn-era).
3. Okay, so are Sirius and Rustell the same person, or am I just confused??

2. My dreams were a lot more colorful and exciting when I was on risperdal and klonopin.
3. My co-worker just pronounced the composer Wagner's name like "wagner" instead of "vahgner." It was unsettling.

1. You might be careful with that avocado thing, stargal. Food allergies get worse every time you're exposed to the allergen. You don't want to go into anaphylactic shock.
2. My soon-to-be-sister-in-law said that her family fights over who will get to stab her with the epi-pen if she goes into anaphylactic shock. She's allergic to about 15 kinds of food.
3. Yes, Sirius and Rustell are one and the same.

1. I think if I mentioned that particular name, people would wonder who in the world I was talking about. They'd think he was some weird German customer or something.
2. I just had a conversation with my boss through a coworker's intercom on their phone. It was unsettling, but funny. I never left my desk and we carried on a conversation through another cubicle.
3. I'm drafting a proposal to make our website more appealing to customers... woo HOO!

1. okay, now I am really freaked out. I am allergic to a bunch of stuff, and have been all my life. But I weaned myself off of allergy shots and medicine because they didn't seem to help the problem at all. I never even thought of an epi-pen.
2. I'm allergic to nuts (sorta just found out, usually very mild reaction, depending on the nut), bananas, avacados (which I love), cilantro (I tear up), assorted fruits and veggies (cucumbers on occasion), plain milk (skim, not too bad, but if I just have a glass of 1 or 2% I usually have problems.
3. I thought part of it had to do with how restaurants clean things. One day, I'll be fine and then the next time i go, I'll have a reaction...

1. I would be extra-careful about the nut allergy. Those escalate quickly. But I am no doctor, so don't take my word for it. I would just hate for anything to make you really sick.
2. I know it's almost 2 pm because I can't stop yawning.
3. I just laughed myself silly, looking at the website for Reno 911. I love that show-- which was completely unexpected.

I am pissed off at cindi's co-workers too. they suck.
Gwensdad's dog had to go with me to the post office so he wouldn't tear up the house while I was gone. I am debating whether to take him along when I go to pick up Gwen.
A jar of peanuts appeared on the window ledge by my side door. I think Gwensdad put them there but I am not going to touch it until I can confirm that.

- I had several pages of random facts to read, due to the simple fact that I was mostly unable to get online yesterday.
- I missed some interesting comments I might have bounced off of. Too late now... :P
- I got three big writing projects out of the way today at work. Might account for a small part of my bounciness tonight.

-1- I am dying to know why cindi's coworkers are jerkfaces.
-2- There is a huge amount of billowing black smoke in the sky but I can't find any information online about what it could be! Very frustrating.
-3- Spalding Grey is missing, according to the news. Weird.
