fact number one.
I have to go catch the bus to go to class. sucks. But at least it's a final.

fact number two.
I ate celery and peanut butter for breakfast and even though I've eaten cheddar chex mix, I am still burping peanutbutterandcelery. gross o rama.

fact number three.
I felt insanely hostile about this Sirius person who was last-posting all over the place, then only seeing Rustell's avatar and became very confused. Then I finally get in here, and seeing all the Sirius jokes and finally I see Rustell's pic with a SIRIUS name over it! egads! a head trip and a half!
You can never change your avatar, Rustell- cause then I'd never recognize you!

p.s. I don't think I ever will change my avatar- I'm one of those folks.Though I'd love to do the cheese-monkey thing.

I was going to attempt to send XMAS cards to as many N'ness members as possible....but I gave up after I completed 4 cards because they just weren't coming out as good as I hoped & I knew they would never reach all of you in time unless I mailed them out ASAP - so I mailed 4 last night & I think that's all I will be sending out :(

2. I haven't even mailed Christmas cards to my family yet, although the envelopes are stamped and semi-addressed.

we should also go to Memphis. (Tennessee is not one of the states, but borders several of the scary states.) I have tried to invite myself to visit gwensmom before, but I don't think she ever saw that post. So here's another feeble attempt.
1. Heather should come and visit me! November 2004 is fine because that will give me just enough time to clean the place up if I start today.

2. I made two huge pots of broccoli cheese soup as gifts for Gwen's 7 teachers/therapists. I still have tons left and Gwensdad won't eat it. So I have to and after making two pots of the stuff I am kind of sick of it. Fortunately it is very cold (for Memphis) here so soup tastes pretty good.

2. The in-store monkey appropriation option is really not acceptable. I buy my cheese at Whole Foods, and they do not sell monkeys.

Sorry, Aimee! I didn't mean to offend anyone, but it was pretty stupid of me not to say so up front, since there are nervous people in all of those states.
I was scared of Montana, too, and then I went there and stayed for six years.
The Deep South does not get very good press, I'm afraid. Also, I remember reading a quote from a University of Alabama student in Lisa Birnbach's college book. The interviewer asked her about their liberal arts program, and the woman said, "Nobody here is liberal." That makes me think I will be bored and scared in the non-east-coast part of the south. But I do like camping, so I can just stay outside if there's nothing else for me.

Oh, this isn't three random facts at all.
How about...

I used to be attracted to gap-toothed guys

I secretly wanted gappy front teeth!

1: i had gappy front teeth until i got all four wisdom teeth in.. now there'e no gap... but there's still wisdom teeth.....

2: julian has FIVE teeth in between his eyeteeth- where there should only be four teeth!!!! you can't tell unless you count- they dont look funny or anything but one is a little crooked...

3: the public health nurses didnt believe me (ever) when i told them he had an extra tooth- they all kept saying 'oh, no, they just aren't coming in in the order you are expecting.. sometimes they dont' come in in the right order, it's just got you confused...'..... sigh... like i'm an idiot who doesnt know how to count....

4: (bonus) julian's first tooth was the top right tooth beside his middle teeth (which werent' in yet)... then his two bottom ones... harrison's first two were bottom front but now he's cut both of his teeth beside the front top two... (which aren't in) what can i say- my kids are orthodontic freaks!!!

1. Today is the best day I've had in a long time for all of these reasons (that are one fact if I say they are): I got my letters telling me I've got $2500 coming my way, I finished my shopping, I bought full-fat egg nog and rum and get to drink it now, I got a haircut, it was a lovely sunny warm day, I'm finished exams, and Jordan called from Calgary to get my advice on a gift for his sister.

2. I don't often have a day I love to bits and I am thoroughly enjoying this.

3. Now I'm going to go carolling with my friends at the old folk's home and around the neighborhood and then go to a closeby small town where my friend is housesitting for a good old fashioned sleepover. Well, not quite old fashioned as there will be boys allowed at this one. :) Sometimes I swear I'm going to be eight forever.

2: last time they showed up unannounced, i was about to hop in the shower and had a bathrobe on.... i would have ignored the door, but julian has a bad habit of running to open it before i can tell him 'no'..... sigh.....

1. I came closer than ever before to being hit by a car today. I saw him coming so late, and realized so late he wasn't looking at me, and disbelieved it so much, that I didn't even have a chance to get an adrenaline jolt, even after the fact.

2. On the same walk, on my way to get coffee, a guy who looked like he'd just stepped out of a Steinbeck novel leaned out his window and asked "Do you know anyone who has a Toyota transmission?" as if it were the most normal question in the world to ask a random pedestrian.

3.Where there's a will, there's a monkey.

I think that one might be worthy of a change of sig, Tom.

2. since getting car doored AND having my bike tire blow out on me in the space of a few days, I have not been riding my bike as much as I used to

3. my heart has a pink bandaid on it today and I'm none the worse for wear -- I am just hiding under my hat.

and this is not a fact, just a question:

how does one put those quotes at the bottom of one's boxes anyway????

1. The iron-on paper i used for my Monkey iron ons is made by hammermill. When relaying this information to Brian I said it was made by hammerquill.

2. I did not bother trying to explain, I just said, "I meant Mill"

3. In my excitement of discussing the Monkey Agenda, Brian asked if anyone has taken their pictures yet. I explained that two people had. When I said "he" referring to Seusomon he got a weird look. He is even more in shock that people of the male gender would get their pictures taken with monkey and cheese.

Bonus fact: He still loves me, even though he told Vince, "See, she's part of this cult, and she needs Curious George to get her picture taken with cheese."

1. I am weepy and sad today because my brother and I have decided we will probably put our 19-year old family cat to sleep tomorrow or monday. She has a huge cyst-like thing coming out of the side of her head and neck and she keeps falling over when she walks. We'll get her checked out by the vet, of course, but we're pretty sure this is the end. :(

2. A kitschy new gallery/shop in town is selling sock monkeys. I never would have noticed had it not been for all the monkey talk around here.

3: i dated a lot of hockey players in high school... none that have made it in the NHL, though i did party with dave karpa and rod brind'amour.... and they both do.... maybe i was bad luck that none ofmy boys 'made it'..... ;)

bonus #4: in 1984, there were no graduating students from my high school... there was one who could have but she opted to go to notre dame because she didn't want to be alone in her class... i think she just wanted to date hockey players.... ;)

2. There was a sign on the hospital's door that said Morgantown is experiencing a bad flu outbreak. It said that all the people who think they have the flu should go away.

i stayed up all night writing a paper on tax policy. it has to be sixty pages. i have like forty five, which could be classified as the home stretch. staying up all night makes me feel sick and gross.

i talked to the registrar today. i call her the easter egg because she totally looks like one, down to the patterned shell. i like her though. she made me feel better about graduation requirements. i was all spazzed out that i wasn't going to make it.
but now i know i will.

today i mailed a surprise for beagletracy, a book for ibbidyboo, and a package for possum. maybe i am simultaneously making progress in the mail art world. why isn't someone bringing me a mocha latte? i talked to my dad today. i hadn't talked to him in two weeks and he thought i was dead in a ditch. i had to say sorry for scaring him.

3. My winter vacation starts in 45 minutes. That rocks!

1) Also, if I got a job at Michael's I'd probably have trouble keeping my sticky finger syndrome under control... I lack morals when it comes to chain stores <_<

2) Vacation started at noon today... I need to make a to do list for the next couple of weeks so I get things done while I've got the time

3) My how the holidays sneak up on me these days

1. I think Heather & kismet should take a drive up to NY from Baltimore sometime :D

2. I found out Michael's in Plattsburgh is approximately 2 hours and 33 minutes from my house. See! (http://maps.yahoo.com/dd_result?ed=Sii5KOV.winoGEAa8jOGTjPkirRJsh4IcF5ztyGiLCibLQ1.MUdeR.EW85kj&csz=Schenectady+NY&country=us&tcsz=Plattsburgh%2C+NY+12901-6532&tcountry=us).

3. A Nervousness meet-up would be so much fun. I am a little apprehensive about meeting people in person though...not because I don't WANT to meet any of you...because I definitely do... I am just shy. ^_^

That is such a straight shot from your house, Sarah! Cool.

It's 7 hours and 38 minutes from my house, unfortunately! See? (http://maps.yahoo.com/dd_result?ed=GDJ7j.V.winwcofRobkGlUppRWeoZuoq0fuKCBccBxBSZxXbZM92p.LYgD5l9qAynr8-&csz=Baltimore+MD+21214&country=us&tcsz=Plattsburgh%2C+NY+12901-6532&tcountry=us)

wow! that would be a mighty long drive Heather! :o

1. Oooh Cuilanie is in Montreal right now! She could meet us too!

2. I wish I had some extra cash now so I could drive to Plattsburgh & meet up with you all right now :D

3. It's funny, I never think of Canada being so close but Montreal is only about 3 hours North of my house. NYC is 3 hours south. So many of you Canadians live much closer to me than many of you U.S. dwellers!

Do we know if the post office is open tomorrow? I have to mail things. Maybe I should mail them today, just in case. It'd be an excuse to get out of the house. That does mean I need to whip up some projects to mail, but it's not like I'm really doing anythign else... Hm....

I meant to answer this before -

Yes I am almost positive it is open tomorrow!

Edited to say:

I am positive it's open tomorrow! Just checked the USPS.GOV website!

-1- I just tried to change my forums "skin" and that lasted three seconds. Way too confusing the new way. Flashing buttons and stuff. Yikes!

1) I tried it too... eep! A little too distracting for me.

2) There's a girl in my school who thinks stickers are gross (the adhesive backing). If you get one near her or threaten to put one on her she'll completely freak out

3) hey, they're supposed to be random facts, right?

:o Last night at the Peanut, my friend Pete got drunk and told me he has a crush on me.

 I, meanwhile, flirted with the bartender and was the last one to leave. I hung out while he closed everything down.

 And last night wasn't even the regular "Peanut Night." Tonight is, though, so I'll be seeing them both again tonight!

The more baked goods I hand out the more come back! I will never eat all of this stuff.

I wish I could afford an excercise bike.

I feel like making something but I don't know what I want to make.

1. I have to get ready to go to me mum's house. I have to see her almost every day this week because of that christmas thing everyone's been talking about. ugh

2. I'm getting ready to eat veggie soup...mmm...

3. I'm freakin' bored. I guess I'd rather be bored than be at my mom's house.

1. I made pecan sandies, snicker doodles, and sugar cookies with my mom today. A little later than usual, but I'm happy because I love cookies!
2. I have a new obsession. I am in love with good hot chocolate with whipped cream on top. Then I drink the hot chocolate throught the whipped cream so I get a bit of the whipped cream and a bit of the hot chocolate. And the whipped cream keeps my tongue from being burned. Oh, the small pleasures in life.
3. I had 2 old friends over the other night. We had a slumber party. I haven't had a slumber party forever. It was great. We drank martinis and bloody mary's and danced all night.

1. It is strange being on Nervousness at almost Midnight (EST). I am usually never on this late because I spend all day here, but I don't have to work tomorrow and I am scanning stuff for an LMAO so I figured why not hop on N'ness to pass the time?

2. The boards seem to be much slower at night than they are during the day even though there seem to be about the same if not more people on now.

3. B) .... oh.....and ;) ..... and a little bit of ^_^ .... and can't forget the :P

I'm wacky.

1. I feel very upside down backwards inside out tonight...this morning...whatever. It's 12:38 AM and I am eating a bowl of immatation spaghettiO's, I'm not so sleepy and I'm playing chain games.

2. If I had to go to work tomorrow/today I would have been in bed an hour or two ago, and I definitely wouldn't be eating immation spaghettiO's, or real spaghettiO's for that matter.

3. I think my dog has hiccups. Is that possible? And I also think that I might just go to bed even though I'm not tired. I do have to wake up early tomorrow. Lots of shopping/baking/creating/wrapping ahead of me tomorrow. -_-

if I don't get a chance to get back on here again before then:

HAPPY <span style='color:red'>HOLIDAYS TO YOU ALL! </span>

I forgot about a gift until just a couple of hours ago.

Now I have to brave the insane crowd and the shopping center in order to get one last gift tomorrow.

I hate it when I forget things like that.

1. I have not purchased a single gift for anyone this year. :( At least everyone's been very understanding about it.

2. I don't want to go to bed, so I just might stay up all night again.

3. I have to help plan a bachelorette party on friday. The party is on saturday. I'm stressed :P

- Heh. When I saw Julie's post about going to Plattsburgh, I thought, "Hey, maybe I can go with her..."

- Only I have to figure out how to get to her house first - I can drive, but I don't have a car.

- The other thing is that I have to figure out how it fits into family-and-friends visiting madness. I'm here until January 4th.

<waves at bluecrayon> <and at sarahkate too>

- I found a sock monkey, old-fashioned style, waiting for me on the sofa I'm sleeping on here. It is a clear Sign I should find me some cheese and take some pictures.

- I wish SK was closer to QC, I could go say hello to nymphette... Seems a shame to be in Canada and not go, but it's too far.

- I'm editing my third fact, which was a direct consequence of the fact that I should be in bed sleeping. Third fact is, I'm getting the hang of this American keyboard at last. I still type q for a qnd vice-versq, though.

- Good morning everyone! :D

- I'm about to make breakfast. Real espresso! Real bagels! Who wants to join me?

- I slept about 3 hours. It's going to be an interesting day... ;)

Bonus - I'm sitting on the floor, because I was too lazy to drag the chair across the room... It's mounted on wheels, fer cryin' out loud...

i have to go to legal aid. i have my clothes on, my coat on, my shoes on, my fuzzy awesome party monster purse that yardenxanthe made, but i am sitting on the couch wondering if i can get chicken wings. clearly i don't want to go.

i am fighting against something, but i don't know what it is. i want to scold and berate it, and i might if i knew what it was.

i needed take a form to the neurologist. heidi doesn't want to go, since the guy who has to fill it out is on vacation. how i feel about that is that i am misunderstood.

- I still have to shovel the front walk, only now I have to do it in the rain.

- I'll be wearing a velvet dress tonight, one I haven't worn in, oh, four years?

- I've no plans for my brithday yet. I'm still surprised by this... but I don't mind.

Coffee's about ready - time to toast the bagels! :D

1. It's almost lunch time here - I feel like sushi today.

2. I got reimbursed for my travel expenses to France today.

3. I think it would be fun if blinking  had the same effect as hitting the channel button on the remote
