. One of my cats has a "Kitty G-spot" on her back (right where her back meets her tail). If you scratch her just right, her head starts jerking from left to right and she chews the air...
1. My husband (who's a vet) refers to that as "The Fat Cat Itch" because, although lots of cats get funky when scratched there, virtually ALL overweight kitties go crazy -isn't that weird??
2. I just checked out 24 magazines from the library!
3. I just did an annoying yoga tape with Denise Austin, who was saying things like "Feel the power of your body, ummmmmm" blech! (but I did like the yoga - just not her commentary!)

My eyes are bleary. I think I'm tired. Well, not my brain anyway. My Body, yes. Oi.

1. Today I am going to a wedding of an aquaintance from church.
2. The reason I am going, when I barely know them, is that's where all the people I know will be today, and I can afford a day off if I do some work tomorrow, and it will probably be fun.
3. The real reason I am going is last night after the midnight movie, Jordan asked me to be his date. Now I just wish I knew if I was his Date or his "date", if you know what I mean... but he invited me, so the important thing is he wants to spend the day with me, or at least with me, too.

2. I'm pretty sure I was a "date", but I can deal with that. Was there ever a time when you were allowed to occasionally date without really being dating? Because I think that's sort of what I've got. I like it.
3. I am completely unmotivated to work and make up for all the work I didn't do yesterday. It's not good. On the plus side, I just practised my speech I have to do, and I'm bang on 5 minutes. Yay!

Thanks for the fun links gwensmom! I know someone who has one of the cylindrical little purses--so cute. I'm trying to figure out how to neatly bend the license plate into a cylinder and fasten it . I figure I can make a cloth drawtring style pouch to fit inside so I don't have to worry about the ends.
1. I hate to give up so easily on my nano but I'm afraid its come to a screeching halt. I pounded out about 1000 words today and it was a very special kind of torture. I am approximately 8000 words behind schedule now.

1. My current cause: fair trade coffee. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, go to www.oxfam.com and learn. The international coffee trade stinks; farmers are growing the crops and selling at a loss while 4 huge multinationals (Kraft, SaraLee, Proctor and Gamble, and Nestle) make millions and millions of dollars. It is so wrong.
2. I need to buy some fair-trade coffee as a prop to my speech on Thursday (and also to use), but it'll be tricky with my schedule and the store's schedule.

1. November 11th is also the birthday of Kurt Vonnegut and Fyodor Dostoyevsky, so it ought to be a damn good day for writing. Even if there weren't other reasons for remembering 11/11, I'd vote for making Dostoyevsky's birthday a holiday.

He's also crazy, so I'm glad to have him out of the house. Get this, he's on some kind of white drug so he's really paranoid so he got a new dead bolt lock put on his door and wired his windows shut when they already have locks on them! So no one could get into his room to see if he'd cleaned it out properly)

2. White chocolate almond is my absolute favorite hot chocolate flavor, and I had a very rich cup of it today, while sitting on the couch in front of my new window enjoying the fact that it no longer feels like I'm half-submerged in a river of cold air when I sit there.
3. My white-collar G-man husband put in the window. He also lays tile and laminate and Formica, slings Sheetrock, plumbs, hangs cabinets, insulates (blown and blanket), and used to do the electrical before the Great Terrifying Zap of the Third Pregnancy, when I told him his electrical work would be limited to threading new wires with the power shut off at the source. He's under 40. How many guys of his generation can do all this kind of stuff? :::more pride:::

1. I went to drop off my sewing machine yesterday, at the place who told me it would cost $10, and found out it was $90...Needless to say I waited.
2. I bought some beautiful papers yesterday, and some other little supplies that just rock!
3. I taught myself how to knit last night, well a book taught me... And I can get the stitches to work fine when I put them on the needle, but when I go to do the second row I get all messed up!
(and one more because I think it's interesting)
4. Last night an ambulance pulled into our driveway, pulled out quick and went next door to our weird neighbors house. Nick had gone to bed, but he ran out and we looked outside, because quite honestly we thought someone had O.D.'d. Some one was taken out in a stretcher, but it stayed there for an hour and a half (I fell asleep) and the dog (who roams all over the yards) was gone, and all the lights in the house were off, like nothing happened. I don't know what happened, but it was the most surreal experience I've had in a long time.

Yeah my mind feels a bit off from studying so much.
1. One test down, it was my Italian oral test. I don't really know how it went. She said we did well and didn't tell us we did many things wrong, but then again that doesn't mean we didn't make a bunch of mistakes.
2.Next up: Indian Art History Midterm tomorrow. Yeah! I'll be studying for this all day. Wohoo!

1. I am planning to rent a car this weekend, as I have something on both Saturday and Sunday that will be easy with a car and bordering on impossible without one. I shouldn't do it, I can't really afford it, but it will just be sooo nice to run my own life for a glorious 72 hours.
2. Tomorrow I have an 8:30 class, a presentation at 11:50, a dentist appt at 2, and I'm doing a reading for a church thing at 7. I am facing two semi-fears (speaking and dentist) in one day, and speaking twice. Go stress!
3. I'm worried about me. We learned about stress and strain and relaxation in one of my materials science classes, and it was way too close to my life instead of steel bolts. The explanation (more or less) went that if you take something and put it under stress, that results in strain. If you leave it under stress long enough, eventually the same stress results in less strain. That is my life: same stress, less strain. I care less than I used to. Maybe that's good... I'm rambling. I know. Suffice it to say there are so many engineering things going on in my head that sometimes they just need to come out.

1. My mom called me at work to tell me that Miss Mary died. (Before you get all uspet: not MISS MARLEY, my cat.) Miss Mary was a family friend who was pretty old. Unfortunately, she had no family members, so my Aunt Rita was visiting her in the nursing home every week. Also unfortunately, because she's not a blood relative, they would not give my aunt any information about why, suddenly, she couldn't speak anymore. The nurse said, "She's in her dying phase." But wouldn't say more. LAME. And now she's died.
2. I don't have to go to the YMCA today, because my mom is going to Miss Mary's funeral.
3. I can't go to Miss Mary's funeral because I didn't know about it until I got to work, and I am dressed inappropriately for a funeral. Just as well-- I don't find funerals to be very comforting anyhow.

1. So I was stopped at a traffic light this evening, and heard this deep rumble as the gigantic truck pulled up next to me. Its size, ground clearance, solid tires, heavy, utilitarian frame, giant winch, and throaty, powerful engine marked it out as military build. It had been painted flat white, by hand, it looked like. The cargo area was a huge box, also hand painted white. I couldn't even see it all through my window from that close. I took that all in while my brain was also processing the small sticker, mounted on the side at normal car eye-level, for just such stuck-in-traffic neighbors. The sticker was white on black and said "THINK PECULIAR THOUGHTS." Well, you can bet I did so. Who am I to argue with a truck like that?

2. My bedroom was decorated with a safari theme, because I have a small giraffe collection, and couldn't decide how to decorate the room once I grew tired of the hunter green and burgundy phase.
3. The safari theme had grown to include some zebras and a 6 foot crocodile (elsewhere in the posts you can learn about the crocodile) but all that is put away during construction...but what i failed to rememove from the room were the monkeys. So, I have a completely empty except for construction room with two monkeys hanging from a vine and a big gorilla sitting in the corner. It reminded me that I truly belong with the NNESSERS of the world.

1. I'll be on my way to Paris by this time tomorrow
2. I just looked on the Gap's website and found some things I don't want to live without...But can I justify buying a cashmere halter top, a tweed skirt, a satin skirt and a strapless wool dress??? I think I need a Gapcard...
3. I am hopelessly sick, and Nick even told me that I've been really stressed out lately, which I didn't even notice. Looks like a warm bath, a good book and curling up in front of "Daria" and "Degrassi" tonight, despite the fact I'm 24... :-)

I'm just beneath number 12 on the poster board?! Oi. I had no idea.
I should be writing. I really should. But, you know, I'm not. I totally think a two-liter of soda would help out this situation, but... there is none.
uhm.

Sounds like someone has that channel, what is it called Noggin? I used to have it when my mom had digital cable but it's gone now. I'm jealous. There's also Pete and Pete on it too right?
1. My friend just called me a "pimptress" yesterday. I don't even think that's a word. Just because I refuse to committ myself to one person lately... I'm only dating/ seeing 3 guys at the moment... (they all know so it's nothing bad)
2. I saw my ex this weekend at my friends party. I had actively avoided him and my ex-bestfriend/ his girlfriend now for 2 months now. Grr... That's why I hate having mutual friends and why I've made a point to make new friends so we aren't constantly running into each other.
3. My 20th birthday is coming up on December 11. I'm excited. It's right after my finals and my house is having 2 back-to-back parties that weekend. One's a girl punk rock/ indie night which is just awesome and I'm really excited and the other is a hemp awareness benifit with reggae music which will be cool too. If anyone's in Eugene, OR that weekend feel free to come on by. But I don't think anyone lives near me really.

Haven't seen Pete and Pete yet, but won't say it isn't on....
1. Yeah, so I also love Viva La Bam and Room Raiders on MTV... Being without cable for 9 & 1/2 months meant I missed out on a lot of things, like about 40 E True Hollywood stories!
2. I saw the first season of the Anna Nicole show on DVD at target, and now I want it, just because it's a reminder of how good MY life (drug free, thank you very much) is.
3. One of my long term (obscure) celebrity crushes has finally become attached to some single mom... Darnit! I was hoping we could be together, LoL... On the birght side, she's really tan and skinny and I know I could never compete with that, so he must be pretty full of it to pick someone like that, right?? :(
4. I'll be having a virtual pity party this Sunday, for anyone who wants to come... Bring chocolate (without the calories please), oatmeal raisin or applesauce cookies and stickers, please!

2. My daughter is mad at me for not letting her go to Indiana and back tomorrow so she called me stupid.
3. I grilled chicken tonight on an indoor grill because my oven and stove have been broken for three weeks and the repairman still doesn't have the part in yet.

1. I'm surprised to find that the same statement, with significant change of font size and characteristics, makes one fact into two. Not that I dispute it: there's no question Christine's #1 and #3 are different facts. I shall have to remember this effect for future use.
2. I will from now on be getting extra money when we sell wallpieces I've done most or all of the actual work on - which is to say almost all our wallpieces.
3. Cooked a not-very-ambitious, but very good, dinner tonight.

I have no fancy icons or type to put in my box of random facts -- I just spin on my own fancy...
I talked to him twice tonight and laughed both times -- that's gotta be good!
I am avoiding my serious work to slack over here in chain game land -- I can see the papers all over my table yelling at me!

Wow, Rosie has been busy with facts!
-1- When I was little, the 'Rock Around the Clock' version of the Happy Days theme song used to scare me so bad that I'd run out of the room.
-2- When I was three, I named my favorite teddy bear 'Mrs. Brady' after the mom on the Brady Bunch.
-3- This is so weird that I REALLY want it. (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0000AC87Y/qid=1069248017/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/002-8030723-4685619?v=glance&s=music)

1. I just decided to catch a later bus than usual, mostly to bum around on the message board.
2. I won't probably actually be late, just almost late.
3. I don't really want to go to school at all, but I should. My stats class (that I hate with the fire of a thousand suns) seems to have gotten much harder, if the assignment is any indication. This probably means it's time to stop skipping.

1. I mailed 10 packages for my I *HEART* Magnets swap last night. I think that is the most I have ever mailed at one time before!
2. I am having Cheez-its and bottle of fruit punch for breakfast. I feel like I'm in elementary school.
3. My boyfriend & I got Chinese food from a new place last night. Big mistake. My General Tso's chicken was disgusting - I ate a few bites but couldn't bring myself to finish it. I figured I would be fine eating just the white rice then - but even that was disgusting! How can you screw up white rice? It was like mush and it tasted like it was covered in Elmer's glue. Bleck.

1. Everytime I hear the Barenaked Ladies Song "Another Postcard" on the radio, it reminds me of Nervousness (and the French monkeys' plot for world domination). Is this weird?
2. Now I've got that song stuck in my head.
3. It's November 19th, and I still have roses blooming in my backyard. WTF is up with this weather?!?!

2. I was supposed to play Tour Guide for a trip to Sedona today, but it was cancelled, so I have a free day to catch up, return phone calls, run errands, scan 50 pages....
3. Gwen's Mom would be pleased to know that my house is at it's dirtiest and I have no desire to clean today.
