It's usually kind of funny at stores; I thank them, they thank me. The funniest is telling them to have a nice day, and then they can't say it. :P

I'll stretch the definition a bit and say last July. I rented a car and covered over 1000 km in two days, from St-Jérôme, to St-Eustache, to Ottawa, to Hull, back to St-Eustache, to Montréal, to Trois-Rivières, to Vaudreuil-Dorion, back to Montréal, then to St-Jérôme to return the car. :blink: I like driving, and the car was comfortable to drive, but that was exhausting, especially since I was on a tight schedule.

Not more than three days ago - I listen to the soundtrack of Tous les matins du monde all the time. The first track on it is enough to sell the CD to just about anyone, and to someone (like me) with a love of grandiosity in music especially. I listened to it at a music store and bought two... one to give away. I think that was before I saw the movie.

Goodness, the last time I built something was in college.... I was a theatre major my one & only full-time year in college, and for work-study, I worked at the theatre building sets & such. The last show I worked on was William Inge's Picnic. The entirety of the play takes place on the porches and backyards of 2 houses. One was a two-story with a wrap-around deck, and the other was a 1 story with stairs leading down to the yard (my character's house). I mainly worked on the construction of my character's house and the build-up of the yard (taking the flat stage and altering it into a sloping yard). I think the last project we worked on was the hedges for the larger house. They were built out of a chicken-wire frame, with muslin strips dipped in many shades of green paint mixed with glue to make them stiff. We dipped the strips of muslin then tied them to the chicken wire, then squished them to make them look sort-of like leaves. All in all, the set looked fantastic....

The last time I ate smores was the middle of August. Back when I had my herd of science geeks, we were celebrating the end of term with a campfire before they all *sniff* went home. When I was in grad school I got a picture framed. It was a $14 print and I picked out a fabulous frame and spectacular matting, not thinking about what the price might be. When they rang me up at the end it was like $225. I went into a cold sweat and parts of me went numb. I left the store in a sick haze. The next morning as soon as the frame shop opened I called them to cancel the order.

late august, when i took my mom and my sister's kids to a pool in regina... harrison really liked it... there was this little girl who kept staring at harrison and i couldn't figure out why she was giving him such funny looks- she must have been four or five... then i realized she was looking at his 'button' (gtube) and probably thinking he was inflatable and that i blew him up like a beach ball.... ;) that's kind of what the button looks like, the little thing you blow up inflatable toys with... it made me giggle...

A month or two ago I was at a concert and ran into a boy I had a crush on when I was in my preteen years. We went all through school together. I suppose that could have been a lot more unhealthy, but that was a lot of food to eat BEFORE dinner. :P
