1. How/why did you chose your Nervousness user name? Sarah is my first name, and Kate is my middle name....so I just put the two together!

2. What Color Trousers are you wearing now? Trousers? Who says that? Really! Anyway...jeans...blue ones.

3. What are you listening to now? Nothing at the moment....just the mysterious "hum" coming from the ceiling in my office.

5. What was the last thing you ate? Chocolate cupcakes from the vending machine :o

7. How is the weather right now? sunny...but a bit cloudy and cold...about 45 degrees (F)

I used to always try to use Zyzzyva for my screennames, but it was always taken. So, I went out on a limb and tried my given name. Who would have thought that my real name would be less common than the last word in the dictionary – an American plant eating weevil.

2. What Color Trousers are you wearing now?
I cannot say Trousers without putting my nose in the air and doing this little flip of my hair. Regardless of those issues, I am wearing black Crazy Horse trousers. They are ultra comfortable but having a little static cling issue today.

3. What are you listening to now?
The first time I answered this question I was listening to Harry Connick Jr. sing I’ll Be Home for Christmas, but the cd ran its course and now, I too am listening to the hum of the CPU

Barbara= St Barbara's day. She's a legendary Christian martyr who ran away from home in disguise and went from door to door for help. Hence kids on that day dress up and go from door to door where they're given candies. The resemblance with Halloween is a bit eerie but it's definitely not derived from it, it's been around for ages. I think the party districts have now realized that holiday's potential for fun. Why have just one Halloween party a year when you can have two? ;)

It is different each day. It depends on last thoughts the night before, on dreams and on what the news is when I turn on the radio. Actually, a fairly common one is "oh, that was a dream" - can be a happy or a disappointed realization.

what's a wacom pad, anyway?

wacom make those tablet and pen sets - which are really cool for 'drawing' on the computer
they make them up to really huge sizes - i think 18" X 12" - mine is a little one - but when i become rich i am for sure going to get a big one

they are really good
i think they have cordless mouses too

i dont use the pen all the time
but i use the pad underneath my mouse - i have an optical mouse and it needs a dark surface
otherwise i wouldnt use a pad at all
