For one of my courses, I'm supposed to be eavesdropping on people when I go out, and recording interesting snippets of their convos....one problem: I don't go anywhwere!!!! lol

so if you can post any interesting pieces of conversation you've heard lately, it will be a HUGE help to me :D

I don't have exact dialogue - but the boys in the cubicle across from me were discussing TV Dinners the other day - contemplating which was better - fried chicken or chicken fingers. They are weird!

I was just sitting on my porch feeling sorry for myself (due to the fact that I am under quarantine). Anyway, I couldn't help but to overhear my neighbor downstairs talking to another neighbor.

It wasn't a very exciting conversation.. but they were discussing her (Sherri) new boyfriend. They met through a mutual friend. She wasn't exactly sure about him, but she really liked him. My other neighbor (Brandy) said she thought he was creepy. They have only been dating for a few days (yes days).. and he was 34 and living with his parents. And then she said that he had a daughter, but he wasn't allowed to see her until she turned 13 and then he would gain full custody.

(let me break in here and say, this girl isn't the sharpest tack in the box, obviously. there are so many red flags in just those 2 sentences.. but anyway, she is apparently, very desperate)

then Brandy said that she thought he was a little strange looking (I haven't seen him, so I don't know what she meant by this). Sherri replied that she really liked him, but she wasn't sure if he had a job or not, because he said he did, but then when she asked a friend that worked there about him, it turns out he doesn't work there. He doesn't have a car, so she has to do all the driving.

and then I started coughing and had to go inside. Very peculiar story, very strange indeed.
