make sure you use yogurt and not buttermilk... and my oven is better at 425 degrees, but it may just be my oven... (we always put in a tsp of crushed garlic too...) i've even thrown the ingredients into my breadmaker to knead (for eight minutes...) and it's fine (since it isn't a normal loaf bread...)

things i have never done:

used a pasta press to make homemade pasta... (though it would be wonderful to save time!!!)
watched the sopranos, though everyone tells me that i would love it.. ditto for CSI...
had turkish food, although we did have a couple of persian dishes at my best friend's wedding in august...
finished watching a movie with william h macy in it.. i either get disgusted and turn it off or i fall asleep... even air force one, and i LOVE that movie... i have seen the whole thing, just never all at once... ;)

especially fargo!! my friend rented it telling us 'oh, it is so good, it won all these awards, it is one of the best movies!!!' i laughed at him through the entire movie... frances mcdormand is usually a bad movie's saving grace and even SHE couldn't make this one.. *We have lots of childhood pictures of me asleep at the dinner table because of my parents "You'll stay there until you eat that" rule.

My grandmother loves to tell the story of being at our house for dinner and my dad finally saying "You'll eat that or you'll get a spanking."
