Five people ridicule me for ten minutes...which actually happened to me just a while ago here in the office. I got bitten by a snake while doing field work about a month ago and had to go to the hospital, and for some reason, my coworkers wont let this die! Everytime I walk into the lounge, or anyplace where people are congregated, they start in on snakes jokes and ridiculing. Things like..."So, ya like to pick up snakes, huh..." and comments verging on sexual harrassment. I take it all in good stride, though. Gah! I actually had to weigh this one out for awhile, but I have decided that it's better to be alone in that beautiful place. After all, no rules against books. Those literary characters would be my friends. And yeah, I would probably lose my mind, but no one would be around to notice. Nausea. I had it for weeks when i was pregnant and it is not as bad as a toothache. The only thing that would make it go away was to keep active so I did alot of yard work and mowed the yard all the time.
