View Full Version : The Good Genie

We obviously take glee in destroying the wishes of others, but how are we at making wishes even better? Our dark sides are shining...now it is time to lay on the niceness rather thickly.

Take a wish and make it even better....

Who wants the first wish?

nymphette
09-17-2003, 11:29 AM
i wish harrison was completely healthy and didn't have a urea cycle disorder, and that we could have once more baby (a girl??) without the chance of her/him having it too!!!

if wishes really came true...
robyn

gwensmom
09-17-2003, 11:39 AM
Oh me- I want to do this one!

Harrison turns out to be a child prodigy with an IQ of 357. At age 5 he finds a cure for urea cycle disorder and restores himself to perfect health. You immediately have a beautiful baby girl (red head of course) who travels the world taking care of the poorest of the poor and becomes a saint on par with Mother Theresa. You are honored around the globe for being the mother of these fabulous children.

Oh yeah, and Julian invents a pollution-free car. So ya'll are rich too.

My wish is like yours- I wish that Gwens brain damage and physical problems would be reversed and she would be like any normally-developing 6 year old.

Sirius

Gwen wakes up tomorrow feeling quite refreshed from an extremely nurturing good night's rest. She bounds into your room to wake up you and is completely surprised by your emotional reaction. She shakes her head and calls you silly and tells you she's just been watching and learning and now she is ready to conquer the world. Starting with a glass of milk and cookies.

Making up for lost time, she quickly starts absorbing all the reading material she can find and learns and retains everything she sets her heart too. She quickly discovers an artistic ability that she explores and explores...better start saving for art school.

Now your only worry is finding the energy to keep up with her...oh, and she wants a new little brother.

I wish that the positive test was a false positive and everything is a-okay with Jamie's baby (who should be greeting the world in February)....

gwensmom
09-17-2003, 12:27 PM
Ahhhhhhhhhhh, thanks Rustell. That brings tears to my eyes!

I don't know Jamie, so tell me what the test was for. If it was for Down's Syndrome there is a good chance that it is a false positive. I know so many people who had questionable test results for Down's, spina bifida and many other problems and ended up with perfectly healthy children.

The good genie decrees that the test is a false positive. The real situation is that there are healty twins, so Jamie gets twice the reward for having endured a stressful pregnancy.

I wish that I had an ATC muse who would help me make ATC's worth sending out!

Sirius
09-17-2003, 12:44 PM
Yes it was the down syndrome test...which is why we are hoping for the false positive since they are common...they tested twice and she is considering the other test, but has heard so much about the test causing miscarriages that she doesn't want to do it. She'll have the baby no matter what the results are but the not knowing is making her a wreck. She's had a rough start with the pregnancy...including a car accident that she was hysterical about (I was the passenger and I was more concerned her reaction was going to make her lose the baby not the impact of the accident, but it all turned out okay there.)

okay...now someone grant gwen's moms wish....I wish that I had an ACT muse who would help me make ACT's worth sending out! Should that be ATCs?

Lilac
09-17-2003, 06:35 PM
Okay...since this is the GOOD genie game, I won't sent out Stan (the 300 pound Elvis impersonating muse of the evil genie forum). Instead, good genie sends out Johnny Depp! He inspires you beyond reason! You ATC's radiate with happiness and creativity! In fact...you become so talented that a whole wing at the Louvre is dedicated to you ATC art! You attend the premier in an ivory beaded gown with Jonny Depp on your arm!

I wish my son's confidence and athletic ability would improve so that he would excel and midget football feel good about himself.

atomic_cocktail
09-17-2003, 07:11 PM
Good thread Rustell!! I've been avoiding it for an hour cause I don't think my wishes even stack up to some of the above.

Presto! (fairy dust and fragrent smells) Your son gets a touchdown and realizes he is a good midget football player. He starts playing with more confidence and excels at every sport he tries. He gets all the midget cheerleaders and he is so good a few colleges give him a scholarship just to keep him playing.

I wish for another car so I wasn't stuck home when my husband is at work.

Lilac
09-17-2003, 07:20 PM
Voila! A brand new Mini Cooper appears in your driveway. It is voice activated, equipped with a butt kicking CD/stereo system plus a bevy of your favorite CD's. Plus, it never runs out of gas, needs maintenance or gets dirty! Enjoy!

PS: Thanks for getting my son all the little cheerleaders! LOL That's probably more important to him than actually excelling!

I wish that my Grandma's EcoCardiogram comes back okay!

atomic_cocktail
09-17-2003, 08:24 PM
Your Grandma's EcoCardiogram comes back great!! Her doctor tells her she is gonna live past 100 she is so healthy!

Man I really want that car... good choice of car Lilac :)

I wish for my own house.

gwensmom
09-17-2003, 08:48 PM
It's yours. You win an HGTV dream house that is made from environmentally friendly materials and uses sustainable energy sources.

You also win a huge decorating and landcaping budget and when you are done, your house appears in Better Homes and Gardens, Martha Stewart Living, Architectural Digest and Southern Living. Yes, it is so great that Southern Living features it even though you live in vermont!

I wish for a new wardrobe....

gwensmom
09-17-2003, 08:49 PM
oops, sorry! please continue..

atomic_cocktail
09-17-2003, 08:56 PM
You get a $10,000 makeover shopping spree budget! It's beyond your wildest dreams... the challenge is spending that all on just clothes. You become the best dressed. You even become famous in your area for being the most stylish person.

I have a great house and a car... i don't know what else to wish for... oh wait..
I wish to be able to travel the world.

venus28976
09-17-2003, 09:04 PM
Granted--You travel around the world meeting famous artists and being befriended by the locals wherever you go. You see all the great treasures of everyplace you visit both the touristy sites and the hidden treasures. You come back this year long adventure around the world bursting with creative energy. Oh yeah, and the love of your life right beside you. You create grand masterpieces that are displayed in all the great art studios and your art become world reknown.

I wish that I wasn't so tired and fatigued all the time and could feel like my old energetic self instead of a lethagic slug.

Sirius
09-18-2003, 09:19 PM
No more slug! You have so much energy that you can do all the things on your to do list each day, leaving you time to create more projects and do more fun things. You have time to visit with friends and family. You even have time to make some extra money to take vacations. You are fully rested after only 5 hours of sleep each night....mmmmmmm

I wish that my new fun job paid as much as my old exhausting job.

gwensmom
09-19-2003, 10:50 AM
Your bosses are so thrilled with you they give you a raise so that you are making even more that you were at your old job. (They overlook that one report you did about evil french monkeys and radioactive hamsters) Extra perks include unilimited internet priviliges so that you can play chain games all day. they realize it helps keep the creativity flowing.

I wish Gwen would take a nap today!

Seusomon
09-19-2003, 11:19 AM
She naps peacefully, and has wonderful dreams. She wakes up glowing, happy, wise and wonderful for the rest of the day. It rubs off on her mom, and you both go to bed tonight with big smiles on your faces.

I wish I didn't have to wait 7 more hours to be with my lover.

Cuilanië
09-19-2003, 03:37 PM
Wish granted. Times flies past whenever you're not with your lover, so that you hardly even notice its passing. This of course interferes in no way with your normal life, you're just very serene about it all. So it seems to you that you never really leave your lover's side.

How's that for a reformed evillissima genie?

I wish - though at this point it's more of a hope than a wish - that this weekend goes very smoothly and well. (I'm a bit anxious about it... hurt potential is high.)

gwensmom
09-21-2003, 02:10 PM
The weekend goes smoothly and everyone gets along and has a great time. Relationships are strengthened so that you don't have to worry about unpleasantness any more.

And it that wasn't good enough, when you get home you pick up the newspaper and see that the evil French monkey party has been defeated by the wise and compassionate giant prehistoric guinea pig party.

I wish I had enough energy to get caught up with all the stuff I have to do!

VeronicasLovebug
09-21-2003, 11:58 PM
Wish granted....you have mucho energy, you end up getting caught up on everything that you were behind on, you even have time to start on other lmao's and exchanges that you quickly finish, so that you mailbox is full of wonderful nervousness goodies...you also have enough enrgy to spend more time w/ gwen and do lots of fun things w/ her :D

I wish that i will get to new jersey in november w/o any problems, and that things will go great w/ veronica and i :D

Lovebug, your wish is granted. Your trip to NJ goes fine, everything is as perfect as it could be, and your girl and you are more in love with each other than ever before. As a special bonus, you get to be together every weekend!

I wish my heart had an off-switch...

gwensmom
09-22-2003, 03:45 PM
The good genie cannot give your heart an off-switch. That is something the evil genie would do.

But the good genie wants you to know this:

Although your heart is broken, it now has more depth. It hurts at first, but in the future you will be cabaple of more joy and compassion than you were before because there is more room for it.

I wish many good things on Cuilanie while she goes through a hard time.

auntieemu
09-22-2003, 04:53 PM
Cuilanië becomes known for the depth of emotion expressed in her art and letters. She is awarded grants to pursue her art and eventually establishes a university which provides support for the arts through sponsorships and grants. Her good sense and compassion makes her opinion sought after in many circles. She wins the Nobel Peace prize 4 years in a row. She entertains her many admirers in the spacious Paris apartment adjacent to her 3,000 square foot studio, but also finds time to visit her many friends throughout the world.

I wish auntieemu had made a wish.

auntieemu
09-23-2003, 12:45 AM
I wish I didn't have an inner ear infection. It is really draining me and I am not getting the sleep I need to function properly.

Cuilanië
09-23-2003, 08:16 AM
Thank you for the good wishes, gwensmom and auntieemu, I really needed them. I'm actually doing better than I was last year, but the weekend's been real difficult, stirring half-healed hurts and all. :o It's left me sort of shaky.
And 3000 sq.ft? 300 m²? Just for my studio? Wow!!! :)

auntieemu, your inner ear infection heals overnight, and you get several hours of quality, refreshing sleep, not only tonight, but every night for the rest of your life. You never catch an infection again, this trial has left your immune system impervious to all attacks. The evil genie would have you locked in a P4 lab for this (lots of good people in that lab already!), but I'm just happy for you. ;)
You enjoy your perfect health in a long, happy, life, and die peacefully at the age of 117 years old, surrounded by family and friends.

Got a little carried away, there, but y'all have made me mushy with those Nobel prizes and stuff... *g*

I wish I was wiser.

gwensmom
09-23-2003, 08:41 AM
After what you have been through/are going through you will turn out wiser. You don't need a genie for that!!

But....your wisdom increases every year until you are like Solomon. People come from all over to get your advice and counsel and you are able to help thousands of people lead better lives.

I wish anxietyelf would get the help she needs for her depression.

Cuilanië
09-24-2003, 09:49 AM
Wish granted. Anxietyelf gets the best help possible for her depression, all free because the doctors realized what a wonderful person she is, and how sad it is to have such a beautiful personality under a depressive shroud.
She starts to heal and keeps getting better and better. She shine on Nervousness like a guiding star, and we all vote to rename her "Wisdomelf".

I wish the 'average human being' was a more sensitive, caring person.

Seusomon
09-24-2003, 10:09 AM
Your wish is granted. And it has amazing side effects. With that extra kindness at large in the world, warmongers can't gain support for their initiatives, and organized conflict becomes a thing of the past. People help each other more, so that fear and desparation greatly diminish, and crime almost vanishes. Because people come to expect sensitivity from others, they become more open and relaxed. Future historians write about the 'Pax Cuilaniana', which lasts for 1000 years.

I wish I had time to revamp my website.

Lilac
09-24-2003, 10:20 AM
Wish granted! Bill Gates has become fascinated with your web site and begs you to quit your job and devote all your time to this extordinary site! He offers you a cool million per year to do this and also throws in a new mega-super computer and all accessories to make this job more enjoyable. Oh...and he brings Cuilanie over from France to be your assistant!

I wish I could open my own environmental firm so that I could be my own boss and do thing MY way!

Sirius
09-24-2003, 03:05 PM
You successfully open an environmental and socially responsible firm. It is a big hit. You hire geniuses who are able to make great strides in meeting the needs of the people while not destroying the earth. An offshoot of your company travels the world helping businesses who have not been environmentally friendly correct their processes to cause little to no harm to the world. Praise, prizes and rewards are rained upon you.

I wish I could go home in 12 minutes. 2:14pm. Thank you.

gwensmom
09-24-2003, 03:30 PM
The power at your job goes out and you get to leave when you want to. When you get home, Ed McMahon and Dick Clark are waiting at your door with a van, balloons and a big check.

I wish I had time to join more lmao's..

VeronicasLovebug
09-24-2003, 03:46 PM
All of a sudden you seem to have all the time in the world, you are now able to join several lmao's, and you even have time to create some all your own :D and still have plenty of time to sit back, relax, and enjoy life!

i wish my air conditioner would make up it's mind and stay at a steady temperature...it can't decide whether it wants to be off....or freezing cold!

siafu

Your air conditioner is replaced with temperate, refreshing breezes that smell like flowers and other beautiful things. It never gets too cold. And the friendly sun shines in to warm your shoulders occasionally.

Siafu, your cat's butt becomes much smarter. In fact, the cat now provides you with impeccable financial and personal advice, and is interviewed in Harper's.

I wish I hadn't been invited to dinner at a Chinese restaurant tonight (I ate Chinese for lunch yesterday.)

Sirius

good genies can't change the past, you were invited, but...it really is for a surprise, they are taking you out to your favorite non-chinese food restaurant instead! Mmmmm

I wish my house was clean. We are doing a bit of a remodel (on a house that isn't even four years old) and have made a mess.

venus28976
09-24-2003, 06:22 PM
Wish granted. You not only have a clean house, but the remodel was done quickly and efficiently and for free and you house was cleaned up in a jiffy with no extra work on your part what so ever.

I wish my room was self cleaning. It is such a disaster right now and I really should be cleaning it but I keep finding art stuff to do instead.

atomic_cocktail
09-25-2003, 08:17 AM
Granted there is now a self-cleaning button in all your rooms next to the light switch.... just tap it anytime day or night snd presto chango everything is sparkling clean. And you notice in your kitchen a totally awesome, really great, yummy, delicious food button apears. Mmmmm clean house and a fantastic dinner.... You have all the time in the world for your art now.

I wish for a brand new, fully stocked kitchen.

Cuilanië
09-25-2003, 10:51 AM
Granted!

Your kitchen is wonderful, just the perfect size for you, with the newest, most convenient appliances, lots of storage space filled with the tools of the cooking trade, and stocked with the healthiest foods. As a bonus, this kitchen is self-cleaning, the appliances and tools are automatically replaced with the newest version whenever they break down or whenever necessary, and the pantry replenishes itself at regular intervals.

I wish for longer days.

Sirius
09-25-2003, 11:56 AM
Have you ever wanted to move to Alaska? Because that would give you longer days, which would be a good genie, but if you don't want to go that is evil genie...

ack...the pressure is too much. I pass.

Cuilanië
09-25-2003, 11:58 AM
To save Rustell's conscience, I'll be more specific : ;)

I wish for 30-hour days, so I can have an extra 6 hours a day to do as I please!

Sirius
09-25-2003, 12:01 PM
whew.

Wish Granted.

You now have 6 extra hours a day to do with as you please. And, government restrictions forbid employers from trying to take any of those hours to extend the work week. You are now a much more productive person.

Yippie...

I wish I was ready to teach the class I have to teach next Thursday.

atomic_cocktail
09-25-2003, 04:56 PM

I wish our lawnmower would quit breaking down

atomic_cocktail
09-25-2003, 06:22 PM
Well your lawn mower doesn't quit breaking down... it dies you get disgusted and go back in the house... the next morning when you come out you notice that your old mower is gone and in its place is SUPER DUPER LAWN MOWER 4000!! It's a riding mower equiped with cd player, cup holders, airbags (just in case), a cool air blower (to keep you cool), a removable shade (in case you don't like the hot sun), and a remote control (in case you like to just stay inside)!

Oh and thank you thank you for the johnny depp... my husband doesn't understand my love... the only star I think is hot... well that and the australian guy from 10 things I hate about you.... oh and tay diggs ( i don't know how to spell it)

I wish to spend a one day with each of the above mentioned men... *swoons*

siafu
09-25-2003, 06:30 PM
taye, heath ledger (10 things) and johnny write you long lovely letters. they throw in a bit of sports talk for your husband's entertainment. eventually, you decide that they must be getting tired hands from all this writing to get your attention and you allow each of them to spend one day with you.

-taye takes you to breakfast on a fabulous pink sand beach...amazing day follows.
-heath takes you to a mexican lunch on a sleek and shiny yacht moored off the coast of cancun...ton of fun follows.
-johnny takes you to tahiti where he insists on rubbing sunscreen on your shoulders so that you don't burn. languishing in luxury follows.

i wish i were already done with law school and had a cool job with legal aid or public defender's office...and were going to film school in the evenings.

Lilac
09-26-2003, 07:57 AM
Poof! The last paper you wrote was so magnificent, the state decided for the first time in history, to grant you a law degree on the brilliance of this paper alone! All the top law firms are vying for you to work for them! All city governments are trying to get YOU as their public defender! You have your choice of any job you wish! After you chose a place to work, your employer is so thrilled to have you, she agrees to cut your workload (without cutting your pay, of course) so that you will have time to attend film classes in the evenings.

I wish the courage to go for my PhD

What kind of Porsche would you like? A 911? A Carrera? A Boxster? We have them all at The Good Genie Car Dealership, free of charge and complete with Johnny Depp look-alike as driver! (Can't give you Johnny Depp as your permanent chauffeur, that would make too many people jealous, but he does come over now and then to whisk you away for a spin to the country.) With this wonderful car and chauffeur, plus the occasional escape, you are now so carefree and relaxed, legal school becomes a breeze!

Poof! You wake up feeling refreshed every morning, no matter how much you've slept. You always feel like you've had at least 8 hours of sleep, and you leave your house ready to take on the world. In fact you do take on the world...you even manage to get those evil french monkeys overthrown that we've been hearin so much about lately! :P  lol

I wish that the weekend would hurry up and pass, so i can talk to my girl on monday :D

Cuilanië
09-27-2003, 05:35 PM
Granted! You and your girl are magically transported to Monday, at the time you would normally call her. This does not affect the rest of the world (some of us need our weekends! LOL), but instead, you get to spend all those extra hours, while the rest of the world catches up to you, on the phone with her, free of charge, fatigue and worry. She loves you more than ever, and can't wait until November to see you!

I wish someone would invent instantaneous transportation...

siafu
09-27-2003, 10:03 PM

Wish granted! Your first, second and third novel are all on the bestseller list. So is a collection of your poetry. Better yet, the critics rave about them, and each book wins you at least three awards! You get a major deal out of your favourite publisher for an essay on any legal topic you care to address, a personal growth book, and your next three novels and/or poetry collections. You are rich and famous, but this does not go to your head, you're still the Theresa we know and love, and lead as normal a life as you could wish (except on Nervousness, of course! ;) )

Cuilanië
09-30-2003, 08:12 AM

I wish I could take a two-week vacation starting today.

gwensmom

Siafu- lol I get all excited when someone makes my wish come true too!

Your girlfriend is fine! She discovers a cure for the common cold and makes a miraculous recovery. She is now even richer than you with your million and ya'll come with me on my meet-the-nervousers tour and we have a blast. And we all have great haircuts and eat a lot of delicious fruit cobbler. Without gaining weight.

I wish I were a thicker skinned than I am.

Your rubber and evil people are glue anything mean wont stick to you. And on top of this you begin to radiate beauty that could never be insulted. (Gee you're gorgeous!)(You almost got skin so thick it could be mistaken for a turtle shell)

I wish It was next friday!

Shazzam! It's next Friday and the thing you were looking forward to on that day is awesome and wonderful. You are thrilled and inspired and get work making lots of great art for Paul's nervousness show. During the show people from the Tate Modern and the San Francisco MOMA see your stuff and call you to do a one person show in both of those galleries.

I wish my supervisor would quit giving me so much work to do!

Sirius

Ta-dah less work to do. Same great pay. Heck, let's throw in a raise, and a new assistant to help with your with your workload. And he's kind of cute...cute enough to make you day a little brighter, but not so cute as to jeapordize your wedding vows.

I wish that Pepsi One was on sale. See, I don't ask for a lot...

By the way, back to my first wish here, so far all better news with Jamie's baby looking forward to report a perfect birth in February.

gwensmom
10-03-2003, 08:18 PM
Yay for the good news about the baby! Do they know if it is a boy or a girl?

Pepsi One is on sale- 99.9% off. So you go running to the bargain aisle to load up your cart and Al Gore is there and he wants your vote! When you go to pay for them you are glad to find that your cash is not counterifeit.

I wish I would not have any more headaches!

mokistar
10-03-2003, 08:31 PM
And as quick as you wish it, your headaches are gone...FOREVER! You begin to dump all of your pain relievers down the toilet. As you open a brand new bottle you make a gruesome discovery! A THUMB!!!! But with your handy lawyer you sue the company and win (they settle for $20 million)

I wish I had a piece of chocolate cake

Sirius

Voila. A claim jumper piece of chocolate cake (they are huge) with ice cream on the side, a cheery and a glass of milk -- and it is all fat-free, sugar free and calorie free but you wouldn't know it by tasting it.

How many of us have already wished for a clean house?

Today, a clean, clutter-free, organized house without any effort on my part is my wish.

Poof! It is the pleasure of the Good Genie to present you with the latest model of the self-cleaning, self-organizing house. An Index is provided to help you find all your things, which you don't need because everything is in its right, proper and logical place. Little cleaning-bots get rid of dust, stains, and any other forms of uncleanliness for you. Relax, and enjoy your Sunday. :D

I wish for warm hands and feet. (I know I've wished for this before, but it's damn cold here right now... I had to turn on the heating!)

Sirius
10-05-2003, 02:48 PM
Not only do you have warm hands and feet, but you are here visiting me (a double wish) and being that it is currently 93 degrees, your hands and feet are naturally quite comfortable.

I wish I had remembered to put sunscreen on yesterday.

Cuilanië
10-05-2003, 03:07 PM
Wish granted!
Having remembered to put on sunscreen yesterday, you naw have a beautiful, even tan instead of a sunburn. As an extra bonus, by magic, you don't have any tan lines.

I wish for a warm, sunny day tomorrow.
--> Hah. I did not get my wish. It's cold, and rainy. <_<

I wish for enough money to go back to school full time for 5 years without worrying about it.

Mokistar had the evil genie give me $20 million a few posts ago so I will send you to school for 5 years!

I wish that I could have a big party and fly in all the nervousers for it.

You get your wish. AND I make my special homemade pizza for everyone! B)

I wish it were an hour from now, so I could leave work and go see my girlfriend!

gwensmom
10-08-2003, 08:17 AM
It is and you get to go see her. Your bosses see how much happier you are and decide to let you go an hour earlier every day. Your work performance improves because you feel so much better and they give you a raise!

And-thanks for the pizza :) . I think we need hammerquill too for the great chocolate desserts and nyphette who seems to be able to cook anything from scratch.

I wish i could have a week off with nothing to worry about and nothing to do but sleep, read, knit and do nervousness...

Cuilanië
10-12-2003, 07:36 AM
Wish granted. It is so apparent to everyone around you that you really need a week off and that you will be so much happier if you are properly rested that they buy you a week in a nice bed & breakfast in Maine, a five minutes' walk from the sea. They give you knitting supplies, 10 books you've been dying to read, and a laptop computer. You can lounge in a hammock, read, knit, and play the Nervous game all week, take long rambling walk, and rest in peace and quiet. If you need a second week, feel free to ask! :)

I wish I could figure out what I'm doing with my life, and what I really want to do with it.

Tonight you have a beautiful dream in which you clearly see the direction your life should take. You learn that all the bad times you have had were meant to teach you the lessons you need to fulfill your life's purpose, which involves making the world a better place for everyone.

You wake up able to remember it all. You love the work you are to do so much that is doesn't seem like work. And the paychecks are always on time!

I wish my body wasn't falling apart. (I'm 41 so I guess I'm right on schedule!)

Actually, the warrenty runs out when you hit 30.

You get your wish. You wake up one morning to find that your body is now firm and fit, you don't have an ounce of extra fat anywhere. Your internal organs are all functioning perfectly, your fillings are gone and your teeth are perfect. You even have 20/20 eyesight. Your hair even seems to have more body and luster. Because you are perfectly healthy you are also blessed with an even temper and ready wit. You become even more popular because people simply love being around you - yet when you want time alone you are able to tell them in such a way that they not only understand they want it for you too.

A big gold genie truck pulls up in front of your home, and workmen start bringing in courage and peace in 5-gallen buckets (red buckets for courage, blue buckets for peace. You get a lifetime supply, plus oodles left over to pass around to friends and loved ones who can use it (couldn't we all?) You become the worlds most beloved (not to mention courageous and peaceful) siafu.

I wish Eve would come to visit Santa Fe.

She IS coming and she will like Santa Fe so much she will decide to stay and you and she will no longer have to talk to each other through the chain games!

I wish I could find my way out my own door...

Well, OK, but I've done ten times better with that wish myself every day since November 22. ;)

You get out of that door, and stroll into bluecrayon paradise. You are you, the world is rich and happy and loops around with you, and chocolate-eyed boys are everywhere. You develop and perfect the next great cultural movement: tingle art.

I wish at least 5 of you would come to my first ever official Nervousness open house next Friday, at my place. Doors open at 4:00. Sleeping bags and comforters provided. I'll make pizza.
