Ok, so i was just now listening to the song "If i had a million dollars" by barenaked ladies...and well...i was just wondering what everyone on nervousness would do if they had a million dollars...
if i had a million dollars, i'd pay off whatever debts i owe...put half of it in the bank to collect interest...then take my girl to Spain...and wherever else our lil trip takes us :) i'm sure there's more that i would do...i'd probably give my mom $10000-20000....but yeah lol...the rest is mine :D maybe donate some to nervousness...and a few other charities...but definately spain is at the top of the list :D lol....and how about everyone else?

I'd buy a big, beautiful, amazing house with 4 bedrooms(one for us, one for guests and 2 for our future kids), a fully stocked awesome looking bar, a big organized office, 2.5 bathrooms, a big inground pool, a sunroom with plants and comfy chairs, a sleek modern kitchen (i love to cook almost as much as art stuff) with tons of cool appliances, a 4 car garage (2 spots for our cars and room for storing the lawnmower and room for Ryan to tinker around on his car), a deck with lots of seats for parties, and lots of other rooms like a library, a playroom with fun stuff in it like a pool table, foozball, etc, a huge sunny room for art projects....cabinets, cubbies, tons of cool supplies, plenty of open work space, etc, and of course your standard dining room and living room. It'd be a BIG chunk of my money....probably 300 or 400 thousand easy.
Then of course I'd buy a new car, as my Corsica isn't the most reliable....I'd donate enough to keep nervousness going for the next 5 years.....pay off my Aunt Mary's medical bills (she has a ton from her chemo :(), buy my mom and her doggies a nice little house.....go on a fun vacation.........and give some money to a church. I rarely go to church, but I'd probably donate to the one my family goes to. And, I'd go on an art supply shopfest, and buy everything I've ever seen and wanted. I could clean Michael's out really nicely.... :)

Oh, that's an easy one. I'd move to the States or to Canada and open a business; either a cafe' or a rubberstamps venture.

i would:
build our home- we have designed it together and are not moving until we build now.. this will be in about twenty years if we are lucky, sigh...
pay for a nice home for my sister and her family... and a small ranch with 8 buckskins and palominoes for my mom...
pay whoever i have to to get my son transplanted immediately- live donation of course... it's only a liver, it will grow back... ;)
and buy another car for us- a pt cruiser because i can't see myself driving a mini van- and we need the room...
my money is all gone isn't it???
and i would buy you a green dress (but not a real green dress, that's cruel)

ok
i would buy some land and build me a beautiful house- it could be the property im renting - or else it will be a shoptop type property
downstairs i would have a shop - my long held dream - an architectural collaborative
this would have banquettes - where i would work - but we would have an expresso machine and i might make a batch of melting moments when i felt like it - displayed under a glass dome - the walls would be full of shelves.
these shelves would be full of "instant architecture" well thats what i call it. people could buy some archiitecture (my idea to make us architects seem less elitist - and let people see our value in everyday life) when they bought it it would be wrapped up in special tissue and put in a gorgeous bag - so they would feel really fab walking out with their purchase!
we would have lots of coffee breaks - sitting outside in the sun on our rattan chairs
this idea has expanded somewhat - given a lot of things are not open late at night here is australia- s maybe late at night it would have a different guise - you could buy cdrw's, shellite, phillipa's bread, postage stamps, and other'essentials' that people need but cant get anywhere else at 1am in the morning- these are some of the things i needed and spent a while looking for late at night - but we would add to our inventory.
out the back i would have my coloured pencil factory - so i could become the poppy king of coloured pencils - colours to order. complete with beautiful old shiny grinders and mixers and extruders and stuff.
i'm sure i wouldnt make much money - but sure would be happy!

I'd pay off the money I owe for my one semester at U Maine Orono, then I'd be out the door traveling forever as a well-funded Naturalist! ;) If only!

I'm goin' be quite calculative about this.
Pay off loans from School- about $75,000
Give me mum some cash - $100,000.
Buy a good lot of land ( washignton, oregon, maybe nor.cal - about $50,000
Build a three room home upon it- about $350,000.
Stock it with decent furniture, nice livestock and hire a few good hands- $100,000.
My bf and I get some nice vehicles ( this means a couple motocycles, a fast compact, an SUV , some ATV's)- $60,000
Buy equipment for an animation studio in my home ( camera, reams of paper, light desk, lamps, stop-motion goodies)- $25,000.
Buy my BF some goodies too- $30,000 ( trust me, he deserves more than me.)
and drop the rest into an account and live off the Interest- $210,000.
Of course. I'd still work. Hence the Animation. and I'd like to think my BF would too. I'd donate my income. I'd think he'd eitehr donate income, or send it home to Mexico.

1) My boyfriend and I will quit our jobs.
2) We will spend about a year traveling in the U.S. and Canada.
3) I will go back to school full-time.
4) I will give some money to my mom so she can retire.
5) I will give money to charities that promote the Arts in Baltimore City Public Schools.

As long as this is fantasy, my fantasy is that this is $1-million, tax-free.
I’d have to find the right location, but I want a shop like one I found up by Frankfurt, MI this summer. Adorable little shop, with a long front porch w/ purple rocking chairs (I’d have a porch swing). Selling different things…I see it as an art supply shop with tables so people could bring in projects. An herb and flower garden. And then, on the same property, a house in the back with a big porch & swing for us, and a giant screened-in side porch for the cats.
All this, of course, after I paid off my stupid debts and took John and my friends Matt & Jenny and their kids to Disneyworld for a week. I seriously love that place. And a jaunt to Italy or the English countryside. And somewhere in there, something incredibly nice for my dad, like an Alaskan cruise, where the whole family goes.

First, I'd travel - train trip through Europe.
Then, I'd open my own publishing company :)

I'd pay off my college debts and pay for grad schoool.
Take my mom and sis and go to Ireland for a month.
Take a year off and travel around the world
Donate 200,000 to KH, a transitional home for women in recovery that I work at.
Buy a home
Start my scrapbook company
Be able to buy all the art supplies I'd ever need
Put the rest into savings.

There's just so much that could be done with a million dollars but yet not enough, since it opens up so many possibilities but you'd need to make your priorities, since you could burn it up pretty quickly, if you didn't pay attention. So, I'll go with going insane and becoming a millionaire homeless eccentric.

1. Buy me a car.
2. Give my mom the $2,500 she spend for my art lessons
3. Pay off my debts (I'm 16, which is sad I have debts!)
4. (Part of debts) Pay back my dad the $4,000 wasted when I totalled my truck and almost killed myself a week after my 16th birthday.
5. Fix our plumbing system and get a shower instead of just a bath.
6. Buy my boyfriend a bass guitar like he wants. (He's turning 18 next month.)
7. Buy my 7 year old brother a full strong deck of Yu-Gi-Oh cards.
8. Buy contacts for me.
9. Donate to Peta. (I'm an animal-rights activist.)
10. Donate to Compassion over Killing.
11. Set up a gay rights protest/educational thing in my small community. (There are more gay and bisexual teens then most people know. Only about 2% of them are open about it. There are a lot of homophobic adults and teens in our town.)

Iwould buy my own house where everything worked. No dripping faucets or frezzing cold drafts under the doors. Everyone could have their own room and a playroom for the kids. A large yard to grow flowers and vegetables, and a small dog house to match my home for my beagle Kia. :)

i would throw a huge nervousness party... you're all invited...
i would wait until the weather is nicer, nobody wants to be here when it is almost 50 below with windchill!!! i would rent the campground down the road from us (they host a nice little jamboree each summer.. ;))
i would hire some incredible local talent from regina- dan siljer on vocals, and i'd steal the moondogs from donnie, so they can have a real lead singer...
tents for everyone, and portapotties all around the campground....
coolers and coolers full of beer... molson dry, especially.. a bunch of big rock brands... and some 4% for the americans... ;) heh heh...
get heliotrope to cater the whole thing- so there would be food for all the vegetarians/vegans as well as the carnivores.... speaking of meat, a big barbeque- steaks and ribs and chicken...
i'd make a gift basket for everyone coming- filled with art supplies, envelopes/bubble mailers and postage!!!
then i'd be broke.. and all y'all would run off without helping me clean up.... i know it...
