Favorite "On Hold" Song

Weird poll, but it's fun. I hate calling up businesses and they put you on hold with that boring "on hold" music when they put you... on hold.

Today I was calling up business while I was at work, and one lady put me on hold... the song was "Magic Stick" by 50 Cent & Lil' Kim. I was like "Oh my god! I know if I'm getting licked once" Hello, how may I help you? "I'm getting licked twice" WHAT? *click*

I used to like my old co-workers personal "on hold" music. Whenever she got distracted and her mind was far away, she would start singing "meow, meow meow meow" to this little tune.

It cracked me up! We called it her "hold music" so I guess it fits into this poll. :)

I used to do business with a Licensed Poster company called "Funky Industries" (or something like that). Their on-hold song was always "Funky Town." Kind of fun.

I dunno I like a bit of classical.
Maybe a bit of Batoven(sp) <- such a bad spelling mistake sorry if its not readable.

I mean there was this one time I had to phone the national lottery types from my work (I work in a sevice station) and they put his most classic classic on and it was on speaker phone at till point lol, we had customers getting jiggy...though I couldnt see why after all it was classical...

but it was funny, (I guess you had to be there)

i was put on hold during a routine appt. varification for the dentist, they had it on a local radio station during a commercial break....trojan man was at full swing! yeeish

my favorite on hold song that i always jam to would definately have to be...rudolph the red nosed reindeer(around christmas time of course) lol....


and my work definately has some rockin tunes for their hold music <_< "*music playing in background*we appreciate your business, all operators are busy, park hours are as follows..." it's annoying really lol...


my moms work plays the local oldies station...depending on the song, i can usually get into a groove on hold lol...and if i really like the song...and my mom comes back on the phone...i make her put me on hold again lol :lol:

hm.. i love to hear the instrumental version of any heavy metal or hard rock song form the 80's too... it just makes me smile that someone would make a muzak version of heaven's on fire... not that it isnt' a great song, but come ON!!! isn't anything sacred????? :blink:

Ha! I was just on hold with Verizon & the music was Culture Club "Do you really want to hurt me?" but kind of reggae style. As soon as I heard it I thought of this thread & had to bring it back to life!

Mine too! It doesn't matter if it is the Sinatra version with words or the musak verion that just kind of beeps along. I get into it either way.
