Post officesor other mail out (http://nervousness.org/lmao/index.cgi?id=1716)
This had a few spare pages left to decorate, and it did go to Alisoun. I think it then went to somebody else too and I haven't had any confirmation about where it is for some time.
Does anybody know?

As I recall, I sent it to worm@work, and then littlest bee has it or had it and sent it back to you.
Hope it surfaces soon!

I've got it - I'm sorry Mermaid. I have been a really bad Nervousness person lately and let everything pile up. I put it in an envelope this afternoon and it's going in the post tomorrow. There's still a few pages left but the book looks great.
Once again, sorry to hold it up.

Hey I'm glad to hear from you Rosie
I hope you had fun contributing to the object. Is it filled up now?

This book looks great and has arrived home safely.
Littlest bee, I was surprised that I hadn't left you feedback already. That is corrected now :)

Mermaid, congratulations on a LMAO that has made it home twice!

Hey Mermaid, don't worry about the feedback - I'm just thrilled it made it home again. Like Alisoun said, it's great that an LMAO has been round the block a couple of times! Must be some kind of record.
Are you going to send it out one more time and see if those last few pages can be filled?

This book is now on its way to Seoul, South Korea
to the dreamer of the Peace Trains, Jeremy Seligson.
http://www.worlddreamspeacebridge.org/peacetrain.htm
First, in January 2002, it left home - Frankston Australia
and went to
Ii
Finland {I'm not sure how to pronounce that town)
then
hürth
germany
then
Houma, Louisiana USA
then, I think
Praha 7, 170 00
Czech Republic
***
Somebody in Western Australia who no longer appears on the lmao page had it.
**
It came home.
Then it went back out to
New York City [hi Alisoun]
Bellevue Washington USA
then to Newcastle in the UK.
now it is in transit to Korea.

Mermaid, what a wonderful LMAO this has been! Truly international and still going strong almost two years since it was created. I'm so pleased that I had the opportunity to be involved.
Keep us informed as to its whereabouts!

How cool too that it was a 50cent-or-less exercise book to begin with.
Thank you all once more for contributing
and especially to you Alisoun for the beautiful green cover with stamps..

I hope people are still adding stamps to the cover. It's one of those abstract designs that can keep evolving.

I'm delighted that the book will end up in Istanbul, so I will have something 'really nervous' as a basis for formal nomination for Ilkin here.
Jeremy has been to a Post Office Museum in South Korea, to collect information to add to the book.
I'll scan the pages when the book comes home again.

I'll be scanning this again soon, including the latest contribution from Seoul, South Korea.
Then it will be on to Ilkin in Istanbul and may there be no more earthquakes or bombings there in the near future.
Nor anywhere for that matter.

It was Alisoun (Trish La Pointe) who put this lovely marbled cover and stamps (including a nervousness artistamp) on the cover of this object.
It started out as a very cheap exercise book from, I think Dimmeys.

Yes she is, thanks Rosie - Ilkin is still sending email.
Let's keep finding ways to work together and work at creating, rather than destroying things in the world.
Who has a link to some inspiring artwork?

Yes it is great.
I'm trying to decide what to put over the stamps decorating the cover to keep them in place, without ripping them or the lovely marbled paper that Trish put on the cover.

Ilkin needs to receive something good.
These two pictures are of the streets where she has bought most of her food for the past 30 years:

Ilkin in Istanbul has received this now, and she may even begin a second book, as there are only two pages left in this one.
If that's the case, I can scan what Ilkin has added then return and ask here who would wish to add to the second book.

It's great what can become of an exercise book that cost less than 10c initially :)
Ilkin has added to the book, and I believe it is on its way back to me from
Istanbul, or will be soon.
Also, look in the 'Peace Trains' thread to see some of the amazing efforts of Ilkin in partcular that have resulted in toys, musical instruments and art supplies going to children in Iraq.
Yesterday morning, the trucks carrying them were in Jordan.
I'm not sure just how long it might take from there.
