Oh, this is just fantastic. It's not quite mail art, but similar. http://nervousness.org/forum/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif It's somewhere between 1000journals and freewords, I think. You read a book, register it at the site, and "release" it. Oh man, I'm gonna have so, so much fun with this. http://nervousness.org/forum/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Did you have to do this to me? Now I'm off to yet another web site obession.... sigh.

But I'm gonna use it to pass along some books that I can't talk my local used bookstore into taking because they won't accept hardbound books. What is wrong with these people?

Thanks for posting! I've signed up and found a book only two blocks away! I'll let you know how it goes!

this is a little off topic but I didn't think it was worthy of a formal post. WHEN DOES SOMEGUY update? I've been checking almost EVERYDAY... in the morning, after school, on the weekends, I have no clue.

So much fun! I picked up the book (Sphere by Micheal Crighton) and re-leased it. What a wonderful idea!!

i'm completely addicted to bookcrossing now too. i check there everyday even when there's nothing to check. i also have a book exchange going on with pigri!

you all could take a look at my bookshelf (http://bookcrossing.com/mybookshelf/jayda) if you want. i'm still adding more books. if you want to swap for one of mine, just drop me a line either here or a PM in BC.
