monochromatic package PIF

I'm stealing this idea from andrea13-- it was in the Exchange & Trade thread, but somehow veered into a PIF, kind of...

Basically, person 1 selects a color, and person 2 sends them an envie/package of goodies (stickers, paper, toys, randomness, whatever) that are all of that color. Person 2 also lists a color, which person 3 sends them an envie/package of, and so and and so forth. The other thread suggested a $5 limit, that kinda sounds high to me, but I guess just use your own judgement... send the quality of things you would love to receive, whether it's things you buy specifically for the package, or just fun, creative things from your stash/around your house.

Since Foveavotum was the last person to post in the previous thread, I'll send her some pink goodness, and I would like...

I just have to find some way to make it all fit!! ^_^ I've tried to find as many things as I could that were gold or almost gold as possible so that I wouldn't have to put in much yellow. Not that I don't like yellow just that I wanted to stay as true to ur original wish of gold as I could. I just think it's more fun this way! I think that in the end I will be more happy that I did it this way, oh and not to mention u'll be happier as well!! :lol:

thought I'd post a pic of what I finally sent off to Lise yesterday! WHEEEEEWWWWUUUUUU!!! I mean it's HARD to stop looking for the color! And sometimes I wasn't even sure if it would be gold or yellow enuff! I finally sat down and went thru it all and found the stuffs that was the MOST YELLOW and GOLD and put the other stuffs that was more goldenrod or cream or orangey-yellow or whatever with the help of my daughter. So I hope that Lise likes it and that she gets it soon!!^_^

ok , dont despair, dear hydro, your indigo box is now all ready to go.
ohhhh but i sidestepped a little. i got lost in all those beautiful dark purples, cobalt blues, marines... and then i tried to get back to indigo purely, but it broke my heart not to send you the nice papers i had collected... so there you go.
my only regret, and the main reason for this delay, i was trying to find some handmade paper i had stained with genuine indigo... i went through all my things (many) during the holiday, hoping to find it... seems i got through my stash, because i could not find it anywhere. this is very bad, because: you wont have it, and i wont have it either !!!!
hint when you get the box: go through the whole book.
i will mail next thursday. would do it before. but no dinero.

This pic just shows a few things, mostly the bigger stuff... papers, fabric, magazine cut-outs, a package of cookies and a chamomille tea bag (thought you might be getting hungry waiting for my package to arrive, Aztek :p) . The majority of the package is made up of itsy bitsy stuff-- beads, shells, feathers, buttons, ribbon, random tidbits from my stash. Hope you find it useful, or at least interesting to sort through!

My red package from blueness and sky blue package from detephoto both arrived today... I spent seriously close to an hour just opening both packages and going through them... sooooooo much fun!

First, blueness' treasure trove of red... too many things to even TRY and mention them all... paper, stickers, cute toe socks, dice and game pieces, tea, beads, Chinese money envelopes, felt, ribbon, old postage stamps, stencils, even teeny-tiny red clothespins... And I love that you let shades of orange and burgundy sneak in... I love those, too! :D (Oh-- and the whole thing smelled like cinnamon from those candle melters... mmmmmmmmm....)
