3. When I go into someone's washroom I straighten their towels if they are messy, or mess them up if they are straight. I always wonder if they notice.

We did this game the first day of my last semester in college... Anywho.

My lie was #3. I wasn't RAISED bilingual: I have always only spoken Dutch at home, and I went to an American school when I was 7, until about halfway through grade 4 (so for 2.5 years). At the time, I wasn't fluent in either language, then the Dutch came back, and after that the English.
I am probably bilingual now though (I can dream in both languages, and I often don't really know whether I'm talking, or hearing something, in Dutch or in English. It's all the same to my brain =P) but I wasn't really raised that way.

I really can't drive, but it's on my list of things to do in 2003. Ask me about it in a year, and in the mean time: watch out when driving in the Toronto area...

nope, my lie is number 1, thank god. I met captain Kangaroo when I was really little. I hardly remember it, but my dad tried to talk to him and he could barely stand up. Pretty funny.

I'm posting FAR too much, but I'm so very bored at work. Here's more:

1. I find men in drag very attractive. I have the hotts for eddie izzard and tim curry in rocky horror picture show. In fact, one of the reasons i broke up with my last boyfriend was because he refused to dress in drag.
2. My uncle used to host the missouri lottery game show. It made for a great drinking game. (drink everytime the scary redneck says something that doesn't make sense).
3. I used to be one of the top ranked high school soccer players in Kansas. I had several offers of almost full rides to some damn good schools until my knee got messed up and I had to have surgery. Now I pay almost full price to a so-so state school. I'm still a little bitter.

That one is mine. The lie was number three. I dislike sunny days for a few reasons. 1. my boyfriend skates all day long on sunny days and im bored as heck, 2. i love photographing things in the rain/gloomy days, 3. makes me feel like I am in ireland.

Number one was true, caelen is 6'4" and I am about 5'0",
and number two is true... My hair is so long, I don't even brush it anymore - i just throw it up into a weird mess on the top of my head.


I am going to go again:
1. I don't like dogs.
2. I can't help but be intrigued by suicides by hanging.

I was a Rhetoric and Music double major at UC (Berkeley), and worked as an illustrator/graphic designer (follows, right? ...right??) for 10 years before deciding to take back some of my creative soul for my own use. Was a legal secretary for a heavy-hitter in Silicon Valley (when it was happening...) and now work as an exec. assistant to a CEO. Better money (not much, especially lately) and my art is my own...we'll see in future, though--I've always wanted to study theology/social psychology/something of the like...

Okay my lie was #2- my cat is called Bernard not Paul! (Still a stupid name for a cat but...) My first boyfriend was called Paul and we were together for about 3 years- wanted to stay together for ever but well...we didn't. After an interval of about 10 years and boyfriends named John, Hugo and Ben, I met another Paul and fell head over heels from the first moment I saw him. yuck. Here's three more then

I really do have more than 8 cameras, different types and ages - but I don't collect them.
My cousin is very talented guy - not that I know what a flugal horn looks like!

2. I damaged my neighbours VW van after a failed parking attempt.

3. I have never drunk coffee.

Queenfisher, I love yellow! It really is my favourite colour. . .but I never wear yellow clothes. So, my big fat lie was actually number 3!

Here we go again ~ with a candy theme:


1. When I was five I refused to eat anything but cadburys milk chocolate for three days. I ended up vomiting and came out in a rash that lasted for over a week!

2. Although I am English, I love marshmallow 'fluff' and eat it straight from the jar with a spoon, although I always wonder what 'never fail fudge' would taste like!

3. I have a pot of candy bubbles on my desk - I blow them but hardly ever manage to catch them in my mouth (I just blew two and caught both!)

Mejaka... Aah, I laughed at your last one, but I think it's strange enough to just be true!!! Anorexia and ballet seem to go hand-in-hand, which is very sad, but I've never heard that anorexia causes grey hair??? So yeah, I'm probably uneducated, but I'm going with #2.

Do I have to go again?! I can think of nothing interesting to say about myself...

1. I was born in Berkeley, but can not remember ever having been there.

2. I keep a diary that is a secret and another which is not a secret but nobody knows about.

Silverflame, deah, you are brilliant. :^ ) My friend's name is Elayne and she and I both get such a kick out of our friendship. I know living where you do you'll understand why.

Gray hair can result from malnutrition, which can result from anorexia. But it's my sister who has it. I grew up listening to her and my size-1 friends fuss about how fat they were, and refused to buy into the beauty culture quite so completely.

Does this thread really work like three things, so that I have to post two more truths and another lie? Hm...how about family?

1. I have three sisters, one brother, and 26 siblings-in-law.

#1: Four siblings, each of whom is married so that gives me my first four.

A husband who has eleven siblings...and then their spouses...count it all up.

What? You're not even curious about #3? Dad built the coffin at Grandma's request and she uses it to put her Christmas gifts of candy on, and so forth, and calls it her Coffin Table. She wants to be buried in it. That was the whole point. But we don't know if she can find a cemetery that will allow it.

Don't ask me why the coffin thing didn't get my attention... Scarily enough, it seemed like something strange enough to be done and seem normal... I know, I'm frightening! *lol*

Actually, my lie was #3! I did count them all up, and it added up to 23 people who hadn't answered my questions, not 30. I haven't been to the mailbox yet, so that package is still sitting out there!! *ugh* And yes, I have friends with DID (multiple personalities), and I was talking to a friend's alter, Stephanie, who rocks! *hehe* I've always wondered if any of the people who frequent Nervousness have DID (as I have coincidentally found out that 4 people I know have it, surprisingly enough!!)... Anyway, enough of my babbling... I am off to find out what is in that box!!!
